As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will optimize cybersecurity program processes and output. Principal Cybersecurity Analysts at Discover contribute to the broader program roadmap. You’ll play a key role in driving reporting accuracy and demand excellence in department deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Escalates quality and delivery exceptions to senior peers

• Assists in coordinating meetings to identify risk, define requirements, or address remediation plans

• Performs outreach and follow-ups to drive issue resolution

• Reports on progress of deliverables

• Assists with the coordination of audit planning and evidence gathering

• Performs basic project management, reporting, or process analysis duties

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP

• GIAC

• CISSP

**The Role**

As an Associate Analyst, you'll learn our businesses and develop strategic and analytical skills as you drive company growth and customer outcomes. You'll get hands-on experience as you apply your talents, creativity, and passion to create innovative solutions to real-world business opportunities such as launching a new auto loan product, designing our digital engagement strategy, optimizing the workflows for our 4,500+ branch team members, or developing new tools to help our customers when they need it most. No matter the projects, you'll have the opportunity to explore, while learning from experts in consumer lending in a close-knit team environment.

**Qualifications**

Current Bachelors degree student with an expected graduation date between Winter 2022 and Spring 2023 in a technical discipline (examples: Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Biostatistics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Data Analysis, Computer Science).

+ Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics and concepts to a non-technical audience.

+ Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems

+ Proven experience (in an academic, athletic, volunteer, or employment context) working with teams of diverse individuals to deliver complex projects.
