We are currently seeking a talented and motivated bioinformatics analysis to drive forward projects related to improving immunotherapies for cancer within the Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology, and Section of Computational Biology. The Foltz lab works at the intersection of translational immunology and computational biology. We study mechanisms of response and resistance to natural killer (NK) cell therapies by integrating single-cell sequencing approaches, clinical samples, and experimental biology on primary human immune cells to improve NK cell therapies for cancer.
The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing sc RNA-seq, CITE-seq, and ATAC-seq data along with knowledge in immunology and proficiency in R and python. It would also be beneficial to have experience in high-performance computing environments, machine learning, git, whole-genome and exome sequencing analysis, and spatial -omics. Position Summary:

Essential Functions:
