* Under the direction of the City Attorney, provides legal advice and training to the Police Department concerning criminal investigation procedures, seizure of evidence, pretrial, trial and post-trial matters as appropriate;

* Perform general legal research; utilize law libraries and other research mechanisms; and keep current on relevant legal issues;
* Participate in the selection and evaluation, as well as discipline, of legal support staff, and prosecutors; and planning, organizing, and overseeing the work of other prosecutors with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement;
* Maintain compliance with licensing and continuing legal education rules of the Wyoming State Bar.
