Responsibilities and practice
Dentons US LLP is seeking a mid-level or senior associate to join our sophisticated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in any of our California offices. Candidates should have 4-8 years of complex litigation experience, excellent academic credentials, and proven analytic ability. Ideal candidates will have extensive litigation experience on sophisticated legal matters, including exposure to insurance litigation. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Working on all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trials and appeals
Conducting legal research and writing memoranda
Drafting complex case analyses and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
Conducting, propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions)
Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel
