Essential Functions:

· Complete assigned projects efficiently and make decisions regarding routine work with minimal oversight by Senior Audit Associates

· Recognize potential problems in an engagement and propose solutions in a timely manner

· Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines

· Accept increasing responsibility for client engagements

Team Relationship Expectations:

· Demonstrate integrity, ethical decision-making and behaviors that build trust across teams and with clients

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting

· CPA or CPA eligible is a plus

· 1 to 3 years of progressive public accounting experience

· Strong accounting and analytical skills

· Proficiency with report writing tools and spreadsheets

· Attention to detail

· Excellent oral & written communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and budget constraints

· Industry experience in Real-estate, Affordable Housing or Construction is a plus

Our Manufacturing & Distribution Audit practice is seeking an Audit Experienced Associate to join our team. As an Experienced Associate in this practice, we will provide you the opportunity to provide a range of assurance services and business advice to large M&D clients and help solve complex accounting business issues that impact our clients' financial situation.
As an Audit Experienced Associate, you will be responsible for:


Gaining a thorough understanding of Mazars' audit approach, methodology and tools Working on audits, reviews, and compilations within our different industry niches Developing and maintaining relationships with client personnel to obtain a better understanding of business operations, processes, and functions Keeping up to date on current economic developments relevant to our clients' businesses and industries Performing analytical review and testing of audit documents Reviewing client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control; designing and performing tests of internal control; providing recommendations for improved controls Producing accurate and timely work papers and documents Preparing financial statement reports and documentation to support Mazars' reports.



Required Skills and Experience:
