A new comprehensive system to track all malpractice claims and related data needs to be designed and implemented. The objective of this project is to develop the internal layout and design the mechanical structure of a high-voltage, high-power converter. The conceptual design of the converter including the submodules architecture and components specifications has been already developed. In this project, the intern will evaluate different options to organize the internal layout of the converter. The intern is expected to perform 2D and 3D Finite Element modeling to optimize internal layout of the converter for minimum volume, weight, dielectric stresses, short-circuit forces and adequate seismic withstand.
