ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a highly skilled, sophisticated Brand Designer to lead brand design for two distinct brands: Hut 8 - A capital-markets-facing digital infrastructure platform that demands refined, institutional visual execution. American Bitcoin (ABTC) - A newly launched, retail-facing Bitcoin brand where design must be fast-moving and culturally relevant. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, the Brand Designer will join a team responsible for shaping and executing high-stakes, market-facing communications. This role requires exceptional aesthetic judgment, a high bar for technical quality, and the ability to work fluidly across different visual languages. You will be responsible for delivering work that is original, elevated, and non-derivative. As a key contributor, you'll play a central role in evolving the Hut 8 identity and defining ABTC's creative foundation-with significant influence over how both brands are expressed across channels. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role with high expectations for taste level and output quality. Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following: Own the design and production of visual assets across Hut 8 and ABTC, ensuring all output meets a high bar for originality, brand alignment, and technical quality Develop and evolve brand systems, including design guidelines, templates, and scalable visual standards, for use across digital, print, merchandise, and motion Translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling visual formats (e.g. investor decks, infographics, earnings materials) Produce design assets for social media, website, events, product packaging, presentations, and internal tools Collaborate with communications, strategy, retail, and external vendors to ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints Uphold brand integrity across all content, proactively flagging inconsistencies and recommending refinements Manage design workflows, asset libraries, and production timelines with efficiency and attention to detail Contribute to creative reviews, offering a high-taste perspective that raises the standard of design across the organization Support content production efforts-including photography, short-form video, and motion graphics-when aligned with brand design needs ABOUT YOU Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered. You bring 3+ years of professional design experience, with a proven ability to lead and execute brand work across a range of formats, audiences, and creative challenges.
