Job Overview
As the Design Lead, you'll take ownership of major brand initiatives and design projects. This is a non-managerial role with heightened creative responsibility, where you'll serve as a trusted creative authority and peer mentor while producing exceptional design work.
In this role, you'll be hands-on in creating client-facing designs across branding, campaigns, digital and print, renderings, and mockups. You'll interpret client direction, apply brand guidelines, and ensure deliverables are accurate, consistent, and impactful. Working in a fast-paced, agency environment, you'll balance multiple projects at once while adapting quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities
Creative Ownership: Lead client design projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and specifications.

Client-Focused Delivery: Interpret and apply client brand guidelines, technical specifications, and feedback to ensure all deliverables are accurate, consistent, and on-brand.

Design Review: Conduct initial project reviews as assigned, and when needed, step into review and scheduling responsibilities in the absence of the Creative Director.
Collaboration: Partner with Account Management, internal creative teams, and external vendors to deliver client-ready designs on time and within budget.
Production Support: Gather, refine, and adapt assets; prepare pre-production and final deliverables in adherence to client and vendor requirements.
Creative Process Contribution: Support the development of workflows, standards, and practices that improve efficiency and uphold quality across all design deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
5+ years of design experience in a deadline-driven creative environment.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD).
Strong knowledge of design standards, principles, and pre-press/print production.
Experience with interior layout design a plus.
2 years of agency experience highly preferred.
Proficiency in GSuite and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We will train you at our Tualatin office/showroom. We will provide you the marketing materials, sample materials, technical tools, and professional mentorship you need to develop your sales skills. You will work directly with our sales manager and the co-owners of the company. You and your work will matter.

We will provide you qualified leads from potential customers looking to purchase a home organization system.*

In fact, potential customers are expecting your call. Our expert team sets up an appointment for you to meet with them in their home. You create a design for their space and price it and let our team do the rest.
* i.e., custom closets, home offices & libraries, wall beds, entertainment centers, pantry & wine storage, craft rooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, garage storage, workbenches, wall units.)
You work from home and set your own schedule. (But you must live within 40 miles of our Tualatin showroom)
You will do all of this while setting your work (flexible) schedule. After your training period (paid), you will work remotely, coming into our office for sales meetings or whenever you schedule one-on-one's with our sales manager. While your position is full-time, we also know our Designers come from all walks of life, each with its own demands. The Role
As a Designer at Lamont Bros., you'll help homeowners bring their renovation dreams to life by producing accurate, detailed design drawings and specifications. You'll work closely with our Design Consultants, clients, and production team to create plans that are both beautiful and buildable.

What You'll Do
Draw & Document
Create highly detailed construction documents in Chief Architect, including site plans, demolition drawings, finish specs, MEP layouts, and structural elevations.
Specify Finishes
Select and document all project materials (tile, cabinetry, fixtures, etc.) in coordination with client needs, budgets, and suppliers. Capture selections in BuilderTrend and drawing models.
Conceptualize Designs
Develop inspirational design concepts that address client goals while staying within scope and budget.
Manage Limited Scope Projects
For smaller jobs (e.g., bathroom remodels), lead limited-scope design and estimating work independently.
Stay Current
Keep up with product trends, showroom offerings, and code/regulatory changes to ensure the highest level of design quality.
