We currently have a great opportunity for a *Commercial Senior Designer* to join our team in our Collegeville, PA facility. We are looking for an experienced, creative, passionate individual with a drive for success to grow our team!
This position will be responsible for collaborating directly with the client along with the Sales team, other members of the Design Team and support / production staff to bring design concepts to life through detailed design and construction documentation. Full interior design services such as color and finish selections, seating, lighting and all other aspects of the interior details will be required.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Manage client accounts from design through post installation to ensure client satisfaction with process and products.
* Develop construction documentation to include (but not limited to) Finish Schedules, Architectural, Electrical and Reflected Ceiling Plans.
* Complete Architectural Sections, Elevations and Details.
* Coordinate and facilitate the integration of drawings from architects into Eye Designs AutoCAD Standards.
* Facilitate work under the direction of the Design Director in coordination with the Regional Sales Managers.
* Assist clients with making final design selections via in person meetings, zoom/teams calls and phone calls/email.
* Complete sign off package drawings and obtain client approval for production.
* Respond to client and contractor inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
* Review contracts and drawings for changes upon return from clients; consulting with clients and/or Design Team as necessary.
* Create efficient floor plans to optimize patient flow.
* Create shells, 2D and 3D drawings based on client program requirements.
* Keep abreast of latest industry trends by meeting with design reps, maintaining design library, and participating in various educational opportunities.
* Follow Design Department standards for AutoCAD drawings.

*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* Proficient in AutoCAD 3-D; AutoCAD Architectural preferred.

Perkins Eastman offers paid summer internship positions for students. Our college interns are offered a collaborative and congenial work environment with an opportunity to work on projects as fully integrated members of our design teams participating in learning sessions focusing on various aspects of delivering a successful project for our clients. Participants will also enjoy the rich and diverse culture of the firm and the broader community through lectures, project tours and events.
Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for project work, as assigned by the team leadership, in various phases of the project.
* Participates in design development with the client and team, through various means of communication and delivery.
Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Business or Design Planning Programs or have completed the third year of an undergraduate
* No prior work experience required.
* Excellent presentation, written, verbal and communication skills.
* Possess outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable communicating design concepts and processes.
* Experience in business strategy and workplace planning and design a plus.
* Proficient with software such as AutoCAD, Revit (a plus), Adobe Suite software, Affinity suite software, Visualization. Illustrator; Sketchup, 3D software such as Rhino and Grasshopper, InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel, and other data management software.

Job Overview
Enliven Planters is seeking one Horticultural Designer to join our seasonal Design team beginning early March, marking the start of our Spring season.
In this hands-on and creative role, you will design with live plant material in our outdoor production facility and create seasonal arrangements that will then be installed by our team of Fine Gardeners. Design at Enliven is fast-paced, collaborative, and detail-driven. You'll work alongside our experienced designers and Lead Designer to learn our standards and aesthetic while responding to new creative scenarios as inventory changes daily.
Because this role supports seasonal production at volume, we are looking for someone who can become independently productive by mid-season.
Designers may also occasionally assist with on-site seasonal stylings or provide support to our gardening team as needed.
What You'll Do
Design and build seasonal arrangements for planters and window boxes using live plant material
Work efficiently while maintaining quality, consistency, and attention to detail
Follow Enliven's design standards and apply feedback in real time
Help unload and organize large plant deliveries as inventory arrives
Maintain organized staging areas and a clean, efficient workspace
Monitor plant/material quality during production and report issues to Nursery staff
Occasionally assist with on-site seasonal stylings or gardener field support as needed

No prior horticultural experience is necessary. We train new hires in our processes and seasonal standards. Preference is given to applicants with backgrounds in design.
