Job Description Essential Job Functions: Perform day-to-day administrative tasks for the marketing and sales departments Gather information, organize data, schedule meetings and conferences, and handle travel arrangements for the marketing department Serve as resource to assist with completing large marketing projects Collaborate with internal customers to develop innovative ways of gaining exposure for company products Work closely with internal team to identify pieces to be displayed on the retail sales floors Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs created to enhance and grow the brand of the company Help in the development of ways to improve marketing campaigns and monitor active marketing programs Perform analysis from questionnaires to understand the needs of customers Send out communication that the Brand Manager has approved Other duties as assigned by the manager Position Requirements Qualifications: Major in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, other related majors within the field Entering Junior or Senior year Self-motivated Strong organizational skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Respectful of employees and customers Proficient in Microsoft Office, Pack Office, Google Drive tools/programs Highly organized, and can manage time well All team members are expected to follow the Code of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries. Pay Rate: $14.25/hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in protecting the integrity of the Treasure Island and Prairie Island brands, keeping within the guidelines and standards policies Assist in the design, development and production of casino signage, direct mail pieces and miscellaneous internal and external communications for Treasure Island and Prairie Island Responsible for design, layout, typography, illustration and photography selection Perform day-to-day tasks to support the Brand Communications team with meeting business needs while satisfying internship requirements Provide accurate and consistent support in assigned department Work 3 - 5 special events, including parades, concerts, fairs and festivals to assist with property needs. * Specific duties for each intern may vary and are intended to provide a well-rounded perspective to satisfy internship requirements. You'll design and evaluate 3D structural concepts using ArtiosCAD software, support production teams, and gain exposure to the entire process-from concept to finished display. Document assembly steps and maintain proper file management procedures. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Product Development, Engineering, Sales , and production teams. Learn about the full lifecycle of display manufacturing-from concept through production. General Support: Contribute as needed to internal production teams.
