The IT Business Partnership function has the directive to establish and maintain a relationship between IT and the business, and to increase the value realized from IT assets, investments, and capabilities. The G&A Business Partner is responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, and directing IT strategy in support of G&A business needs. This role is a liaison and trusted advisor between IT and G&A business units.

In addition, the G&A BP will provide G&A Business applications support oversight, support vendor selection, deliver implementation and integration services, supervise the design, implementation and maintenance of G&A Business applications to ensure well tested and easy to maintain corporate applications.

During the first year, your goals will include:Develop and own roadmaps, annual plans, budgets, and BvA for G&A systems to drive enterprise improvements.Find opportunities for application optimization, implementation, redesign, or Business process improvements across G&A departments Develop and maintain the relationship between IT and internal and external partners (G&A business units, service providers). Assist business owners in prioritizing projects and system selection. Work with partners and project teams to prioritize requirements (within projects on applications);Serve as the Primary Business applications advisor and liaison between G&A Business application vendors and Business partners to resolve production issues, training issues, or changes related to system optimization and improvements.Conduct license management, Vendor contracts management and recommend process and systems improvements.Partner directly with Alector IT Security team to maintain application/platform security controls

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as a Product Owner for the IT Service Management (JSM) platform. Work with multiple product owners in the planning of the ITSM product releases
  • Develop and implement an ITSM strategy and roadmap for organizational excellence in the application of ITSM and other related services, procedures, and tools
  • Work with business stakeholders and technology partners to define processes for Service Request (RF), Knowledge Management, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset Management, and CMDB
