This position requires a high degree of autonomy and sound judgment, with the ability to determine when collaboration is necessary and when to proceed independently. The role involves managing projects, processes, and expectations while operating with independence, complemented by significant opportunities for cross-functional engagement. Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with all levels of the organization, instilling trust and confidence, when evaluating communication needs Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization Manages and develops content across LinkedIn accounts (OCCH, OCFC, and AHTA), posting on a regular and consistent cadence and reporting on KPIs Oversee the development of the company newsletter, coordinating cross functionally with departments and leadership on content Provides reporting and feedback on ways to increase reader engagement and newsletter performance Maintain content on internal TV signage and corporate websites Handles removal and/or archival of expired or outdated content Intake design requests from internal partners and oversee the design queue Manage expectations internally and oversee deadlines with external design agency Maintain library of brand assets, including logos, templates, executive resumes, company boilerplate, and employee bios, proactively updating as needed Developing videography and photography assets Identifying photography & videography partners, overseeing shoots, and maintaining library of assets Manage print partner relationship, ensuring consistency and quality expectations are met on each project Develop talking points for ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, and other functions where the company has a presence, customizing them as needed and providing them to speakers in a timely and organized manner Develop quarterly executive level reports, reporting on the function and effectiveness of communications channels and strategies Participate in special project teams Performs other duties as assigned Education/Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications or commensurate experience Work Experience: 5+ years in a marketing or communications role with 2-3+ years in a role managing projects or processes and working independently Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to work autonomously and use sound judgement Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to craft engaging content across channels Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and pivot Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in interacting with various levels within an organization Must possess a strong initiative to drive projects as a lead, and strong collaboration skills to support projects as a partner Base Salary: 80k-90k, plus benefits and bonus potential About OCCH: OCCH is a mission-aligned, non-profit low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) syndicator. Duties for this position include programmatic oversight, staff supervision for the District's Education and Outreach Department, and planning and overseeing the execution of a capital campaign and comprehensive fundraising program. The Education and Outreach Team consists of community engagement, adult and youth education, and media specialists supporting all SCD programs including Agriculture, Habitat Restoration, Green Stormwater Infrastructure, and District Operations.. This position will report directly to the Executive Director and serve on the management team. Primary Job Responsibilities The Education and Outreach Department Director backfill primary tasks include but are not limited to: * Work with the Education, Outreach, Youth Education, and Management Teams to implement the strategic vision and priorities of the program. * Develop grant proposals, manage program budgets, and support regional initiatives. * Provide executive communications support to the leadership team, including outreach material for elected officials, policymakers, and funders. * Supervise a team of specialists. Support implementation of annual work plans and training plans, and provide input for annual performance evaluations. * Participate in and help coordinate select outreach events. * Continue to hone the SCD brand through storytelling, events, and earned media. Manage positive relationships with the press. * Oversee production of all public-facing documents including press releases, web content, annual reports, and event flyers, in coordination with the SCD Writer/Editor. * Manage a high-paced production workflow with shifting priorities and needs while tracking products and outcomes for grant and other reporting purposes. The Development Director primary tasks include but are not limited to: * Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan that includes the creation and implementation of the following key programs: * Major gifts and capital campaign * Annual and planned giving * Institutional giving * Collaborate with campaign leaders to continue to create and implement a strategic direction for the campaign, including setting annual and multi-year goals and leading the campaign through its various stages - quiet, major gift, and public phase. * Manage the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and planned giving donors. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, this role is responsible for managing and optimizing all functions related to Slate CRM in support of the College's enrollment goals and communications with prospective students. The Director serves as the primary Slate CRM administrator and project manager, leading efforts in system integration, user support and training, communication strategy, data integrity, and analytics. This position ensures that Slate is effectively leveraged to maximize recruitment and admissions operations through automated communications, improved workflows, and real-time reporting. This is a fully remote position, with evening and weekend commitments as needed for recruitment events. Periodic on-campus presence is required for retreats and planning meetings. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 2 years of experience working in marketing, admissions, higher education, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in Slate. Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and ability to apply relational database concepts. Strong project management and communication skills. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Demonstrated experience working effectively with people from all backgrounds and perspectives. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of general CRM experience. Slate Captains certification or comparable Slate training experience. Experience managing communication flows. Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or data visualization a plus. Familiarity with Jenzabar helpful. Key Responsibilities Slate CRM Administration & Optimization Serve as Admissions team primary Slate CRM Project Manager. Manage the ongoing administration of Slate to support recruitment goals. Manage queries, reports, forms, events, and portals within Slate. Manage automated and manual drip communication flows for prospective student populations following best practices. Work in partnership with the Marketing team to keep email communication updated. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues; coordinate technical support as needed. Evaluate and improve third-party integrations with Slate (e.g., Common App, ZeeMee, virtual tours, testing vendors). Ensure data integrity and oversee import/export processes, including test scores, inquiry data, and application information. Oversee transcript processing from different vendors, making sure student records are updated in a timely manner. Work with Admissions student employees to ensure property training and processing of transcripts Schedule and manage admissions decision release schedule Work in partnership with marketing team to manage mailing list and update records accordingly Manage Slate's user roles, permissions, and overall system security. Stay current on Slate CRM best practices and participate in ongoing training and professional development. Liaise with Technolutions (Slate vendor) and Slate Help Desk vendor to improve adoption and process improvement. Support for Recruitment Staff & Campus Partners Serve as key contact to coordinate Slate training and ongoing support for admissions counselors and other users. Serve as a resource for all Slate-related questions and troubleshooting, working with our slate help desk team as needed. Maintain current and accurate Warren Wilson College information on the Common Application and related platforms. Assist with system enhancements that improve prospective student experience and conversion. Analytics & Performance Reporting Work with the Slate support team to build dashboards and reports that monitor recruitment funnel performance and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with leadership to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Regularly assess communication engagement, application trends, and counselor activity using Slate tools. Other Duties Assist with other related projects and duties as assigned.
