SCOPE OF ROLE
The Chief Nursing and Operations Officer (CNOO) is the enterprise executive accountable for shaping and driving the execution of Signature Health's vision. This leader empowers teams by designing, implementing, and standardizing nursing and medical practice operations systems that ensure reliable performance and excellence across the organization's continuum of care. The CNOO owns system-wide standards for professional nursing practice, leads clinical access and operational reliability in partnership with Medical Leadership, and directs the safety and readiness systems that protect patients and staff. The CNOO ensures that Signature Health's strategy is realized and that the systems and leadership structures needed to fulfill the mission, vision, and values are developed and sustained.

Nursing Leadership:
* Professional Nursing Practice: Establishes and maintains system-wide standards for nursing care, including competencies, policies, and delegated-care frameworks that support safe, efficient, high quality, team-based care.

* Workforce Strategy and Development: Leads nursing and clinical support workforce strategy in consultation with HR, including staffing models, recruitment priorities, retention approaches, and professional development to ensure stable, high-performing teams.
* Leadership Team, and Trust Development: Drives the development of high-performing teams by creating an environment of trust that encourages honest dialogue, aligns nursing, patient services, and medical leadership across sites, and strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration and accountability from frontline leaders through senior leadership.
* Payment Innovation: In collaboration with clinical leadership, champions the transition to alternative payment models, aligning clinical and operational strategies to improve outcomes, value, and organizational performance.
Patient Services Leadership:
* Patient Access: Provides executive oversight of patient access and flow performance, partnering with Medical Leadership and other departments to align capacity, demand, and front-end workflows to achieve optimal productivity and clinical quality.
Safety Services Leadership:
* Quality and Safety Assurance: Directs nursing quality and safety readiness, including workplace violence prevention and critical incident response.
Laboratory Leadership:
* Laboratory: Provides executive oversight of laboratory services (point-of-care, internal, and external testing), ensuring compliance with administrative, legal, and accrediting standards and reliable clinical integration.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Current Ohio RN license; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Bachelor's degree in nursing - Required; Master's or Doctorate degree in healthcare field or business administration - Preferred.
* Five years' experience as a practicing RN - Required; Ten years - Preferred.
* Five years APRN experience - Preferred.
* Minimum five years of progressively responsible, relevant senior or executive leadership-level experience - Strongly preferred.
* Proven ability to utilize healthcare informatics and data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic initiatives.
* Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center or Community Mental Health Center preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must possess a current license as an RN in the state where the center is located.
Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or a graduate of an approved RN program.
5 years prior RN Nursing Supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care center
Must maintain current CPR certification
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, standards of practice and state practice acts and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must be able to deal tactfully with team members, other staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
Must possess leadership, teaching and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with team members in all positions.

What will I do as a the ADON: Assistant Director of Nursing with Genacross?
Provides primary direction to the professional direct care staff (RNs, LPNs and STNAs) on assigned unit/floor/wing to ensure effective care is provided to residents.
Partners with Human Resources in staff attraction and retention efforts, including hiring, on-boarding, coaching and counseling, and performance management.
Participates in resident admission process to determine appropriate services are available.
Implements and maintains infection control program, policies and procedures.
Assists in the coordination of nursing services with ancillary services through the ministry department heads.
Oversees doctor rounds and wound treatments for the residents.
Provides primary direction to Charge Nurses and STNAs on assigned unit/floor/wing to ensure effective care is provided to residents.

Oversees and reviews the daily, weekly and monthly resident charting (MARS, TARS, etc.)

Implements and follows disaster plans in the event of an emergency.

the ADON: Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements:
Associate's degree in nursing (ADN or ASN) preferred.
Current State of Ohio RN License required.
One to two years of experience in nursing supervision preferred.
Familiarity with PointClickCare, Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn new software application as required by the position.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior executives, managers, supervisors and direct care staff, as well as residents, families and physicians.

Position Summary:
