We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Professional Associate Level to be based in our Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, or Fort Wayne, IN offices.Our projects will focus on low and medium voltage distribution systems for building and infrastructure facilities, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment plants. Typical duties will include: electrical design services of systems in areas of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, life safety, communication, and security systems. Leverage your experience as an Electrical Engineer to produce deliverables, contract documents, design calculations and analysis, and assist lead electrical engineers in a team environment.

BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university At least 6 years' of experience in the industry Proof of US citizenship Professional Engineering (PE) license Experience focused on Power and Energy Working knowledge of the NEC


Ideally you'll also have:


MS in Electrical Engineering CAD experience, or the ability to learn, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit Working knowledge of SKM Power Tools for Windows (PTW) Working knowledge of a broad range of electrical systems, including power system design, P&IDs, fire alarm design, lighting design, load flow studies, standby generation systems, communications design, network design, grounding design and equipment selection

Responsibilities:
Assist mid and senior-level engineers develop electrical construction documents (e.g. power distribution, lighting, and equipment) for commercial green building projects.Create and modify details tailored for each project.Analyze facilities, equipment, and blueprints to audit existing energy situation.Review plans with all disciplines to ensure development of well-coordinated construction documents. Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
BSEE or equivalent four year technical engineering degree.Basic knowledge and fundamental understanding of electrical systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, etc.) and applications.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD and electrical engineering software such as REVIT or ETAP desired.Strong verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills.Pursuing Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.Travel may be required.

Responsibilities:Entry level knowledge within the Electrical Engineering discipline with the capabilities and the initiative to perform tasks with supervisory/mentor assistance as required Ability to learn technical skills and assist with low & medium power distribution design and layout Become familiar with and assist with substation design, short circuit analysis, and ARC flash studies Assist with development of wiring diagrams and schematics Assist with electrical calculations including short circuit, load flow, arc flash, motor starting, harmonic, device coordination, and voltage drop Design conduit, cable tray, and underground duct bank Verify field conditions as needed Learn P&ID development Become familiar with instrumentation selection and specifications Assist with instrument loop diagrams, location plans, and installations details Learn the development of sequence of operation and functional description documents
