What You'll Do:
Meet all the Corteva EHS&S compliance needs and set safety standards.
Set up experimental apparatus and conduct experiment for project needs.
Utilize analytical methods to characterize products, raw materials and in process solutions Responsible for project team interactions.
Support multi-step campaigns to produce samples for business and project needs.
Manage and support experimental lab routine operations such as suppliers, infrastructure, new equipment installation, sample shipment etc.
Collect experimental data from a variety of unit operations
Work efficiently with other team members from various disciplines (Chemist, Engineer) as well as work independently as needed.
Provide timely project status updates to project team and meet agreed upon project team goals and timelines.
Document all research data and project results in proper documentation reports.
Mainly support the Technology Guardians/SMEs to execute research projects to fill business objectives.
Can also leads Manage and Transfer Technology work for the molecules (molecule focal point), as appropriate.
What Skills You Need:
A Bachelor of Science in technical curriculum, preferably Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.
A good knowledge of organic synthesis theory and/or chemical engineering principles
A strong hands-on lab skills to set up and run laboratory glass reactor systems, pressure systems, and associated equipment for multi-step sample preparations and understand the safety ramifications. Also knowledge on lab automation is preferred.
Experience with lab analytical instruments such as LC, GC, PXRD, PSD, NMR, etc.
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in cross-functional teams. The ability to prioritize and execute numerous projects is critical.
