Keep shipping area clean and clear for safety. Stage and segregate product in designated areas; adjusting storage areas according to shipping requirements. Document movement of materials through a transfer system. Take inventory, maintains storage area, organizes, and places stock on shelves. Ensure area is always secure. Share ideas, improvements, and recommendations for continuous improvement to help optimize results to improve safety and quality. Break down crates and dispose into dumpsters. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Previous forklift and pallet jack experience required. Some computer skills needed. Ability to read work orders. Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers. Independent thinker. Attention to detail and organizational skills required. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Must be 18yo or older. Must be able to stand for most of the shift. This is manual work requiring frequent sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
