The successful candidate will assist in coordinating procurement, logistics, vendor communications, and production schedules between our North American and Asia-based partners. This role requires a proactive individual comfortable working across time zones, engaging directly with overseas manufacturers and suppliers, and ensuring timely flow of materials and information across the global supply chain. This is an onsite position based in Irvine, CA. Key Responsibilities Support the VP of Global Supply Chain & Operations in daily coordination of international supply chain activities. Serve as the primary communication bridge between Elixir MD's U.S. operations and China-based suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners. Conduct regular supplier check-ins and translate business and technical communications (Mandarin โ†” English). Assist in order management, purchase order creation, and shipment tracking. Monitor inventory levels, supplier lead times, and production schedules. Review and verify documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and customs forms. Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Finance, Product, and Quality) to ensure supply continuity and compliance. Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to vendor performance reviews. Travel internationally as needed for vendor audits, factory visits, and logistics coordination. Maintain accurate digital and physical records in accordance with internal audit and regulatory standards. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, supplier responsiveness, and production lead times Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or related field. Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written). 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics coordination.
