Product manager with experience building software and hardware products. The team develops integrations between the Music service (AM) and third parties where customers can use the AM service to stream music. Examples include Tesla (in-car), Sonos (in the Sonos app), Meta augmented reality glasses, cars that have Music integrated into their head units from the factory, and more.
The PM will work closely with internal AM product and engineering team to develop product requirements jointly with BD managers and Solutions Architects, who in turn develop the business requirements and technical solutions with third parties.
Examples of work required includes evolving existing AM capabilities on partner devices and apps, or building allnew products and features.
Functional Competencies:
The PM in this role must be familiar with new product development methodologies in software, such as how to prompt business teams to write business requirements, convert those into product requirements, create user stories, and jointly map user stories to functional requirements owned by engineering teams. The PM must have experience working closely with software developers and managers, and be familiar with concepts such as scrums, standups, roadmap reviews, backlog grooming, etc.
The ideal candidate will have experience with software that requires hardware integration, e.g. apps that require specific hardware to work such as connected speakers. They will have worked on teams that own and operate APIs and are familiar with how SDKs work (and the differences between APIs and SDKs). They understand the difference between Agile and Waterfall methodologies and have at least a basic understanding of microservice and monolith architectural patterns, or the technical depth to acquire this knowledge quickly. They will have experience dealing with ambiguity at large software companies with cross-matrixed teams that share responsibility for large features.
The PM does not need to have been a programmer themselves, but because this work requires close embedding with software teams both at partners, close collaboration with SDEs/SDMs and understanding working styles, terminology, etc is highly preferable. This will require representing company(jointly with others) in partner-facing meetings, requiring some experience in executive presentation and understanding how to present technical concepts and abstract them for a business audience, if needed. Excellent written skills are required, especially knowing how to simplify technical discussions and representing roadmap decisions and tradeoffs.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical product management focused on software delivery is required, ideally with some knowledge of developing software that requires hardware.
Knowledge of APIs, SDKs, agile software development methodologies etc is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Work with product and UX design managers to deeply understand PagerDuty Operations Cloud functionality, integration needs and customer journeys

Role Description
The Coupang Media Group (CMG) is the advertising platform team within Coupang. We are a globally distributed team focused on delivering advertising solutions for those that sell products on our platform. This includes display, search, performance, brand, and video ads offerings.
With the latest advances in AI/ML, we have the opportunity to rethink the traditional ads stack to deliver unique high-quality experiences to our customers that were traditionally outside the realm of possibility. This is a senior individual contributor role focusing on creating new ad experiences and improving existing ad experiences across Coupang's apps and websites.
What You Will Do
Product ownership for CMG Ads.
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to re-imagine our ads experience to deliver unique customer experiences while directing day-to-day execution towards the vision.
Launch and improve ad products that surface highly relevant results for consumers and better conversion for advertisers
Work closely with business, engineering, internal/external partners, and customers to define project requirements and success criteria
Effectively communicate, collaborate and drive alignment with a variety of stakeholders including senior executives to ensure highly scalable and performance end-to-end experience for advertisers and shoppers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of product management experience developing and launching products in the advertising or recommendations domain
Proven ability to deliver in a complex stakeholder and partner team environment
Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment with a short iteration cadence
Multiple successful launches of V1 products in a rapid growth environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs
Preferred Qualifications

Our compensation reflects the cost of living across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.
The base pay for this position ranges from $159,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $324,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $196,000.00 to $247,000.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.
U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
* .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
