Position Announcement
The Department of Geography seeks a scholar in the area of Spatial Data Science (SDS) that integrates with work in physical geography, human geography, and/or human-environment interactions for an open rank tenure-track faculty position beginning Fall 2025. The individual will be expected to develop a cutting-edge, internationally-visible research agenda in SDS and Geography that yields external funding and publications, attracts graduate students, and builds collaborations. This position is based in the Geography Department but is part of exciting growth in data science at the University of Oregon with the recent launch of the School of Computer and Data Sciences. Faculty and students in the Geography Department also collaborate with the world-class InfoGraphics Lab. The Department has undergraduate majors in both SDS and Geography. Applicants will be expected to teach courses in Spatial Data Science and Geography, from the first year to graduate level, and supervise master's and doctoral students in the applicant's research areas. We are particularly interested in individuals advancing methods in SDS. Applicants must have experience in (or potential for) obtaining research funding from competitive grant programs such as NSF or NASA. Additional qualifications include experience in (or potential for): teaching GIScience courses at the post-secondary level, collaborating with others in the department (socialsciences.uoregon.edu/geography), and mentoring graduate students. Department or Program Summary
The Department of Geography is a top-ranked, PhD-granting unit with strengths in biophysical geography, human geography, environmental studies, and spatial data science. In addition to our graduate and undergraduate Geography programs, the department offers a B.S. degree in Spatial Data Science.
Minimum Requirements
(1) A Ph.D. at the time of appointment
(2) Existing (or potential for) successful publication record in the area of advancing methods in Spatial Data Science (SDS)
(3) Existing (or potential for) successful publication record within a domain of Geography such as physical geography, human geography, and/or human-environment interactions

(5) Experience in (or potential for) teaching Spatial Data Science courses at the undergraduate and

The course is designed for upper division Biology and Biochemistry majors. The class would run from February 9th through May 29th, with 150 minutes of lecture a week and a three-hour lab each week. There is significant staff support for the lab portion of the course, and lab content is flexible in terms of instructor background. The days that lecture and lab are offered are flexible and can be worked out with the chair of biology. The Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management (PPPM) offers 3 master's programs, including Community and Regional Planning, Nonprofit Management, and Public Administration. The Community and Regional Planning program awards a MCRP and is accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board. This position will strengthen and support the university's vision of leading world-class team-based, interdisciplinary research and education in ocean, earth and climate science; and technologies for bettering the quality of human life. The appointment is anticipated to be at the rank of Assistant Professor, but rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor many be considered upon appointment to the faculty. Rank will be determined commensurate with qualifications.
The incumbent will demonstrate capability for building a robust research program that complements existing expertise in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science ( EECS ), especially with connections to AI, and enhances the scope for collaborative and multidisciplinary projects with the Collaborative Robotics and Intelligent Systems Institute; the College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences; the Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Health and Science University among other organizations. The position incumbent will also demonstrate a passion for and excellence in teaching and mentoring, with a strong commitment to promoting inclusion and equity for learners from diverse groups. The position will teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in electrical and computer engineering in different modalities as required. Additionally, the position is expected to perform duties related to service to the university and their professional field.
The position incumbent will have expertise/specialization in Integrated Electronics.
Integrated Electronics is open to areas of analog, RF, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design with applications in machine learning as well as AI-assisted design of analog/RF circuits. The design of accelerators for machine-learning applications, energy-efficient circuits for AI computing, and innovative approaches to accelerate and automate analog/RF design are of particular interest.

Department or Program Summary
The Department of Landscape Architecture within the College of Design is the oldest landscape architecture department west of the Mississippi. Evolving and growing for more than 100 years, our program's roots started in 1911. We are the only landscape architecture program in Oregon, administering accredited MLA and BLA professional degrees and a PhD. Our curriculum focuses on understanding landscapes across multiple scales. The department offers an engaged design education through the Urban Farm, the Fuller Initiative for Productive Landscapes, and the Landscape for Humanity initiative. We partner with community groups and the local American Society of Landscape Architects chapter to focus on real-world projects that are carried through to completion. The Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin fall 2025.
The goal of this position is to enhance department expertise related to exercise physiology, human performance, and athletic medicine in areas related to metabolism and nutrition. The ideal candidate will address complex problems related to human physiology asking innovative and applied questions using human participants that will provide generalizable benefits for people across ages, abilities, and health. They will contribute to transdisciplinary collaboration in education and research efforts at the UO related to sport, wellness, and human performance.
Desirable areas of expertise include: female athlete nutrition and metabolism; metabolism and nutrition in sport and performance; sex differences and training optimization with nutritional interventions; nutrition interventions to optimize wellness; precision nutrition; integrative and functional nutrition and metabolism; nutritional strategies for menopausal transitions; nutrition across the lifespan.

Department or Program Summary
The Department of Human Physiology is home to undergraduate and graduate students who desire strong training in human physiology and anatomy that will prepare them for careers in medicine, allied health professions, and biomedical research. The department has strengths in cardiovascular, respiratory and muscle physiology, neuroscience/motor control, cell signaling and metabolism, and biomechanics. Human Physiology has strong partnerships with university athletics, the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact, the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance, and is aligned with a multiple groups both on and off campus related to sport and wellness. Minimum Requirements

Position Announcement
The Department of Bioengineering at the University of Oregon's Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact (Knight Campus) invites applications for two complementary tenure-track faculty positions in Neuroengineering:
1. Experimental & Translational Neuroengineering
Examples include but are not limited to the following: clean-room micro- and nanofabrication methods for neural interfaces, neurophotonics methods for brain stimulation, recording, and imaging, pre-clinical models in bioelectric medicine or brain injury repair, brain organoid technology development, and disease models.
2. Computational & Data-Science Neuroengineering
Examples include but are not limited to the following: neural signal processing & data analytics for feature extraction, decoding, and adaptive control, high-throughput behavior tracking and closed-loop perturbations (e.g. pose estimation, unsupervised behavior clustering, neural conditional feedback), neuromorphic computing & AI hardware or brain-inspired AI algorithm development, spatial analysis of multi-omics data.
We are particularly interested in applicants with a demonstrated track record of translating discoveries into real-world impact, including through entrepreneurial activities; a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and advancing inclusive participation in scientific training and career pathways; and success in pedagogical environments that employ evidence-based teaching practices.

Department or Program Summary
The Knight Campus is a bold new effort designed to accelerate the cycle of translating scientific discoveries into innovations that improve the quality of life for people in Oregon, the nation, and beyond. Rooted in the University of Oregon's 60-year history of interdisciplinary collaboration, the Knight Campus catalyzes new research opportunities, forges partnerships with industrial and clinical practitioners, and provides integrated experiential training for the next generation of citizen scientists and entrepreneurs. Minimum Requirements
• Doctorate in Engineering, Neuroscience, Biology, Human Physiology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited institution of higher education.

The School of Psychological Science (housed within the College of Liberal Arts) at Oregon State University invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE ) 9-month tenure-track (annual) Associate or Full Professor of Clinical Psychology position to assist in leading the emerging Clinical Science PhD program.
This position is part of a multi-line, multi-year investment in clinical science research and teaching, in support of a successful, rapidly growing undergraduate major and Ph.D. program. Clinical Science training was added in Fall 2024 as an option to our existing Psychology PhD program. Our Clinical Science model centers on rigorous training in the science and practice of evidence-based interventions, reaching diverse populations who may lack access to mental health care, and the wise use of technology in clinical psychological service.
We seek a colleague who focuses on any area of clinical psychological science and is eager to join and help shape a dynamic team that prioritizes excellence in clinical research, practice, and training, consistent with Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System ( PCSAS ) values. The candidate's work also must advance Oregon State's strategic plan (Prosperity Widely Shared;********************************************************** and the College of Liberal Arts Strategic Plan (************************************************************************************************* We are especially eager to build expertise in our department with topics related to development, adaptation, dissemination, and/or implementation of evidence-based assessments or interventions, models and efforts to increase rigor in clinical science training, and/or improving access to care. Course releases are granted for appropriate reasons including serving as director of clinical training ( DCT ), mentoring PhD students, and at the Director's discretion "buy out" of assigned classes using grant funding. The position is anticipated to include fixed-term rotations as DCT and/or mentorship of other faculty who take on the role of DCT .

+ Responsibilities include carrying out an active program of research in an area of specialization leading to the production of scholarship in the form of articles in refereed journals, books, monographs, conference presentations, and other similar scholarly products.
