The Division of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in Power Engineering at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
The position is open to candidates with expertise in all areas of power engineering, including but not limited to power systems, power electronics, electric machines and drives, and the electricity market. Job Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for developing and sustaining a nationally and internationally recognized research program in power engineering while also teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in electrical and power engineering. This includes supervising and mentoring postdoctoral scholars, graduate, and undergraduate students. The incumbent is also expected to publish impactful research and disseminate results in high-quality journals and conferences, to collaborate with industry, national laboratories, and government agencies, and to lead or contribute to multi-investigator research protocols, as well as engaging in service to the Division, College, University, and the professional community.

The School of Business at SJF, embraces the teacher - scholar model. Faculty are expected to be actively engaged with the local business community and with research in their respective fields of study, and through that, help prepare our students to be Day 1 Ready business professionals who will meaningfully impact their organization, communities, and society.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who enjoys working in a fast-adapting, multidisciplinary environment and who shows enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues within the department and school as well as across disciplines.
Tenure-track faculty in the Department of Accounting and Finance carry a three-three teaching load. They are expected to be effective, innovative, and committed teachers and active researchers. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple modalities (i.e., in person, online, and hybrid).
The successful candidate is expected to engage in scholarship to build and maintain a strong publication record, produce original research for publication in quality peer-reviewed journals.
