The part-time faculty (instructor) shall perform duties and responsibilities in collaboration with the Program Chair, Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Preceptors. The faculty (instructor) shall perform duties in compliance and adhere to JRCERT accreditation standards. Other responsibilities include participation in assessing student learning outcomes; developing, revising, and implementing curriculum; maintaining current knowledge and skills in the area of assignment; building collaborative relationships within the BC community and the radiation oncology community at large; demonstrating a strong commitment to student success and fostering a positive, caring learning environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a part-time adjunct faculty in the Radiation Therapy Program, the individual is responsible for teaching, observing, and evaluating in didactic and/or clinical settings.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Adjunct Professor is typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment.
Quarterly remuneration for 5-credit lecture class is $6,418.75- $ 7,824.65
Compensation is prorated based on type and duration of assignments.
Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment/project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment. All additional compensations are subject to change depending on funding and negotiated agreement.
Generous benefits package for eligible employees is offered through Washington State plans that includes multiple medical, dental, life and disability coverage choices for employees and dependents; choices of retirement and deferred compensation plans; paid personal leave plan; transit program, reduced tuition, employee discounts and memberships, etc. Eligible employees are faculty who work a combined load of at least 50% at Bellevue College and other Washington State public institutions of higher education for two consecutive quarters are eligible for health and dental insurance at the start of the second consecutive quarter.
In addition to teaching, faculty maintains office hours and may participate in department and college activities. This position is represented by the Bellevue College Association of Higher Education (BCAHE) union.

About the Department
The Radiation Therapy program at Bellevue College (BC) offers personalized and intensive instruction to form a solid foundation for a rewarding career in this field. Bellevue College has the only Radiation Therapy program in Washington State and is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The program is comprised of faculty and staff who oversee didactic and clinical instruction which is aligned with a professional curriculum published by associated Radiation Therapy professional societies. Once a student graduates from the program, they will be eligible to take the national certification board exam and apply for a health care license to practice.
Essential Functions
Promote teaching and learning in radiation therapy and clinical setting.
Complete student learning outcomes assessment and provide students with timely written and verbal feedback.
May participate in curriculum revisions with the integration of the latest research aimed at continuous improvement and new course development.
Utilize a variety of teaching and learning strategies and innovative techniques including the integration of technology and the latest research to assist students in the achievement of learning outcomes and assessment of learning.
Participate in work with the advisory committee to engage community interests in Radiation Therapy education.
Refer students to appropriate college resources as necessary.
Participate in professional development activities related to teaching and learning theory and education in Radiation Therapy.
Actively support student success in alignment with college diversity goals, initiatives, and activities.
Maintain American Registry Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Radiation Therapy RT(T) credentials and Washington State Department of Health RT license.
Clinical instructors must adhere to and maintain clinical onboarding requirements including CPR and immunizations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and current ARRT (American Registry Radiological Technologists) credentials, state license, and minimum two years of experience working as a radiation therapist.
Didactic instructors must have flexibility in teaching schedules.
Clinical instructors must have flexibility to meet during scheduled clinic times. The applicant will require the ability to travel to Bellevue College clinical affiliates.
Prior experience in supervising students in a clinical setting.
For clinical onboarding: BLS CPR, immunizations up to date.
Effective oral and written communication.
Ability to work in a team environment with diverse colleagues, staff, faculty and student population in a collaborative and inclusive manner.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior teaching experience at the community or college level, proficiency in evaluation, instruction, and advising, additional modality certifications, and department leadership experience in coordinating department scheduling and quality assurance.

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lead Instructor of Technical Services to join our team in Seattle, Washington.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep, hands-on expertise in commercial HVAC/R systems, electrical infrastructure, and building automation/controls. This leader will be responsible for supervising a multi-faceted FCTA training center as well as teaching technicians and supporting their career growth.
First Coast Technical Academy training facility is located at a Boeing facility. It includes travel up to 25% to support regional teams, training centers, and field operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of the technical training center, ensuring high-quality instruction and facility readiness.
Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple trades including HVAC/R, electrical systems, and controls
Conduct training of technicians, and trains and supervise a small cadre of support instructors
Support the growth of technical training staff through mentorship, coaching, and performance development initiatives.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work involves face-to-face instruction and is performed in a classroom which is adequately heated and ventilated, and in an on-campus outdoor environment, sometimes in rainy conditions. Occasional off-campus student field trips may be expected. Frequent use of computer and exposure to terminal screens in performing work assignments required.
In the interest of providing a healthy, safe and secure educational and work environment, and in order to meet the requirements of federal legislation, it is the policy of Renton Technical College to maintain an alcohol and drug-free workplace for our employees and students.
This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Lecture (theory) credits are compensated at $1,090 per credit, which includes scheduled class time and final exam days, in addition to a per credit stipend based on the high demand tier. All guided practice instructional credits for adjunct will be paid with an additional pay factor of 1.33. Future advancement in base salary, up to the current maximum of $1,640 per credit, is based upon a combination of years of service accrued at our college and professional development activity.
Degree Stipend:
Master's or Doctorate degree stipends are paid on a prorated per credit rate.

Compensation
Placement on the faculty salary schedule is based on an individual assessment of education and experience. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) invite nominations and applications to lead the Phase I Developmental Therapeutics clinical trials program. The position will be dual appointed with a primary faculty appointment in the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and a secondary appointment in the UW Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology. The position will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and the Division Head of Hematology and Oncology at the UW.
We seek a visionary leader to head our Phase I Developmental Therapeutics Program, focusing on innovative therapies to provide hope and healing to cancer patients. This Program Head will lead and oversee the development and execution of early-phase clinical trials for novel cancer therapies. This role is crucial in translating groundbreaking research into clinical practice, ensuring the safe and efficient evaluation of new treatments. The successful candidate will partner with leaders of the Fred Hutch immunotherapy integrated research center and cell-based therapy team to develop and execute an institutional early phase trial strategy. The Program Head will foster strong collaborations with translational researchers and clinical investigators at UW and Fred Hutch and will forge partnerships with biotech and pharmaceutical industry partners to grow the phase I program assets and advance our mission of delivering transformative cancer therapies to our patients.
The Program Head's overall responsibility will be to maintain and expand our Phase 1 clinical trials program in collaboration with our immune therapy and cell-based therapy teams. Specific tasks will include (1) providing leadership in designing, implementing, and managing early-phase clinical trials; (2) working on a team to oversee appropriate selection and placement of phase I trials (3) coordinating the infrastructure needed for optimal implementation of phase I studies, including research nurses, data coordinators, regulatory affairs, tissue acquisition, and biostatistical support; (4) working with medical oncology and other faculty to assure patient accrual to studies; (5) direct care of a portion of the study patients in addition to the faculty member's standard of care patients; and (6) outreach to community oncology providers to enhance access to Phase 1 trials. The candidate may also specialize in the treatment of a cancer subtype, in which case they could maintain a subspecialty clinic that is separate from their role as the Phase I Program Head. The incumbent will serve as an academic, clinical and educational leader charged with organizing, directing and expanding the research efforts for an established team of clinical researchers involved in conducting phase I trials. Responsibilities include assisting with faculty recruitment as well as oversight and mentorship of faculty leading Phase I trials. Teaching responsibilities will involve oversight of advanced practice providers and fellows during inpatient and outpatient rotations, and delivery of informal teaching sessions and formal lectures to providers and the general medical community.
Appointment at Fred Hutch would be at the rank of associate or full professor in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch. Appointment to the full-time faculty at the UW would be at the rank of associate or full professor, without tenure due to funding. Academic appointments at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. Associate and full professors hold indefinite appointments that both align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
Opportunities exist for joint and/or affiliate appointment in the Fred Hutch Divisions of Public Health Sciences, Translational Science and Therapeutics, Human Biology, Basic Sciences, or Vaccine and Infectious Disease, depending on mutual interests. Fred Hutch and University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
The successful candidate will be appointed in the Clinician Scholar track and will spend approximately 30% of time on clinical care based on the candidate's interests (and institutional need). The remainder of the incumbent's time will be protected for research, administrative oversight of the Fred Hutch Phase I clinical research programs, teaching and mentorship, for the first three years, after which, the incumbent would be expected to cover at least half of their salary each year through grants, contracts, or clinical work.

The Engineering & Mathematics Department of the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB) invites applications from qualified candidates for short-term, temporary instructional positions that may be needed at various points throughout the 2025-26 academic year (Sept 16-Jun 15). The successful candidate(s) would be appointed as Lecturer Part-Time Temporary, a non-tenure track, non-voting eligible faculty title.
Successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to innovative and effective pedagogy, have expertise in working with diverse student populations, and are open to collaborating with colleagues.
The successful candidate(s) will have an FTE commensurate with the assigned workload. For context, one 5-credit course is equivalent to 33.33% FTE and one lab is 16.67% FTE. The full-time (100%) base salary is $6,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This full-time monthly rate is then prorated based on assigned FTE for the duration of the 3-month quarter.
Appointments are made on a quarterly (3-month) basis that are renewable on a quarterly basis, and are contingent upon instructional needs, part time faculty reappointment guidelines, and Department approval. Appointment service dates align with the annual academic calendar. Autumn: September 16-December 15; Winter: December 16-March 15; and Spring: March 16-June 15.

The Mathematics program is part of the Department of Engineering & Mathematics, which is housed in the School of STEM. In addition to Mathematics, the department has programs in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering. The faculty of the Mathematics program is comprised of 15 full-time faculty members, 8 of whom are on the tenure track and 7 of whom are on the teaching track. The faculty have expertise in a broad range of areas, including applied mathematics, discrete geometry, geometry of polynomials, inverse problems, knot theory, mathematical modeling, mathematics education, medical imaging, nonnegative matrix theory, numerical optimization, technology use in K-16, and tiling theory.
