Most of the groups include a mix of full-time faculty and volunteer resident students from the College who contribute to the research of the ARPs for their master's degree and JPME academic credit.
From exploring emerging warfare technologies to developing operational concepts and strategy, ARPs give the student scholars practical experience that can be applied to their careers.
Moreover, the ARPs provide direct input to key planners and decision-makers in the U.

Qualifications and Competencies: Candidates must have an advanced degree and experience in assessing and evaluating strategic, operational, and tactical warfare concepts.
A master's degree in security/strategic studies or a defense-related technical field is required; a Ph.
D.
is preferred.
Desired attributes include: knowledge of U.
S.
and/or foreign military technical capabilities and concepts of operations, or equivalent practical experience in advancing technology; knowledge of naval and joint warfare in all phases of operations from peace time to high-end combat; or extensive experience and technical qualifications necessary to successfully develop and/or field advanced U.

radar, electronic support, other military sensor systems or their countermeasures.

The Health Care Administration Program (HCA) at Rhode Island College provides Baccalaureate-level and Masters level education and training for students considering careers in the health care industry. The program is specifically targeted for those pursuing supervisory and management positions and/or preparation for graduate education. The program represents a unique collaboration between the School of Management and the School of Nursing with significant contributions from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development.
This four-year, 120-credit interdisciplinary program was crafted based upon accrediting body standards, best practices of existing programs around the nation, and the recommendations of experts, and utilizes courses from 18 different majors. The HCA major also incorporates an internship and an integrative capstone experience. For their restricted electives, students are offered choices within gerontology, human resource management, informatics, management foundations, and wellness. There is also a minor in HCA.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences has three departments, Adult Nursing, Community Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science. Nursing has a total of 31 full-time faculty members and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in two Departments-Adult Nursing and Community Nursing. The undergraduate degree program has approximately 550 baccalaureate students enrolled in the prelicensure traditional and accelerated, and RN to BS tracks. The College also offers graduate nursing programs at the MS, DNP, and PhD level, with approximately 110 students enrolled across the graduate programs. Nursing is committed to building scholarship in the areas of chronic illness, nursing education, and global population health. Nursing has a long-standing teaching and research collaboration with the College of Engineering. The Department of Educational Psychology in the Neag School of Education invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in counselor education at the rank of Associate/Full Professor, with the possibility of endowment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach appropriate courses in Counselor Education and maintain independent research programs and external funding to support research efforts in their areas of expertise. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to lead or contribute to interdisciplinary research grants/projects, produce strong peer-reviewed publications, and participate in outreach and service activities including support of the CACREP process. The endowed chair part of the appointment will be reviewed for continuation at five-year intervals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities include teaching courses in the CACREP accredited school counseling program; advising graduate students; engaging in research, including securing external funding to support research efforts; supporting program maintenance and improvement efforts; and contributing to the program, department, school, University, and State through service and outreach.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Earned Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision or related field from a CACREP-accredited program.
Demonstrated ability to secure external funding.
Relevant counseling experience in K-12 settings.

Record of productivity and innovation in academic accomplishments as evidenced by publications and successful funding.
Established expertise and national leadership in Counselor Education.
Previous school counseling experience in K-12 public schools.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness and providing clinical supervision in an academic setting.
Membership and involvement in professional organizations such as ACA, ASCA, and/or ACES.
Active research program in the field of counselor education and supervision.
Strong scholarly record commensurate with the desired rank (Associate/Full), including a record of publishing research in peer-reviewed journals and a record of securing external funding.
Knowledge of the CACREP accreditation process.
Experience advising master's and doctoral students.
Commitment to cultural diversity and social justice.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position with an anticipated start date of August 23, 2025. The successful candidate's primary academic appointment will be at the Storrs campus with the possibility of work at UConn's regional campuses across the state. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
