The CU Division of Social Science is seeking a psychologist for a tenure-track position teaching within a vibrant psychology program looking to expand its program into online delivery. Primary responsibilities will be teaching classes across the psychology curriculum, developing online classes with the same rigor and engagement as their in-person counterparts, assisting colleagues in developing online classes, academic advising, mentoring of students, committee assignments, scholarship, and working with colleagues in the Psychology Department to maintain and advance the program. Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing and teaching courses in both in-person and online settings. The ideal candidate will teach in both in-person and online modalities; however, fully remote candidates will be considered. Job Responsibilities
• Develop and teach a variety courses across the Psychology curriculum.
• Construct lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and enrichment activities to successfully deliver course content in in-person and online settings
• Integrate learning management systems and modern classroom tools into teaching
• Serve as an academic advisor and maintain regular office hours for advising students
• Actively participate in scholarship activities, including but not limited to academic research
• Attend academic unit meetings and CU faculty meetings and cooperate with faculty colleagues
• Participate in events and initiatives aimed at meeting recruitment and retention goals
• Serve on committees; sponsor student activities; attend chapel services, commencement programs, Faculty Forum and other meetings; and otherwise participate in University life
• Support the institution's Christian mission, including being a Christian role model for students
• Maintain a strong interest in the pursuit of knowledge and share it with students and scholars
• Promote the discipline on and off campus and attract students to the field
• Maintain contact with alumni and the community
• Identify with professional organizations and professionals of the discipline at all educational levels
• Assist in recruiting new Faculty members within the academic unit
• Assist the Division Chair and Department Lead in the preparation of class schedules
• Assist in the preparation of requests for foundation grants

Qualifications
Terminal degree (PhD, PsyD) in Psychology or related field (ABD may be considered)
Experience teaching college-level courses in both in-person and online modalities
Practical research, clinical, or counseling experience a plus
Experience advising and/or mentoring a plus
Willingness to work collaboratively within the department and division

The EAD K-12 Unit is looking for individuals with an earned PhD or EdD who are interested in serving as an adjunct instructor for the unit. We are seeking a pool of candidates that would step into a teaching role on an as-needed basis for our MA, PhD and EdD programs.
Due to the vast array of responsibilities that exist for our faculty, there are times where additional instructors are needed. The ideal candidate would be someone who is interested in gaining graduate level teaching experience in a variety of courses. We are also seeking a candidate who is well versed in teaching adults.
Responsibilities
The candidates hired for an adjunct position at MSU will be the instructor of record for one of our Masters, Ed.D or Ph.D level courses on an as needed basis. The syllabus will be provided to the instructor for the course being taught. The adjunct will be entirely responsible for carrying out the syllabus that the faculty member developed for the course; teaching class sessions, grading assignments, maintaining the course website, maintaining ongoing communication with students, and determining and submitting students' final grades.

Qualifications:
o Nursing Faculty:
* Completion of an approved registered nursing education program as defined in the Ohio Administrative Code.
* An earned and relevant master's or doctoral degree

* If the individual does not possess a bachelor of science in nursing degree, the master's, or other academic degree, including but not limited to a Ph.D., shall be in nursing.
Allied Health & Other Faculty:
* Completion of an accredited allied health education program
* An earned and relevant master's degree based on program requirements
* · License / Certification: Must hold a current active, applicable and unrestricted license in the state of Ohio (e.g., RN) and CPR certification (for nursing faculty)
* Experience for at least two years in the practice of relevant field (e.g., nursing).
* The equivalent of six academic years or more of full-time satisfactory college teaching experience is preferred.

Collaborate with students to design a doctoral capstone that allows for the development of in-depth knowledge in a designated ACOTE focus area(s) of interest (Standard D.1.3).
Collaborate with faculty, content mentors, and students to create individualized specific doctoral capstone experience objectives, plans for supervision and mentorship of the student, and plans for evaluation of student (ACOTE Standard 1.4).
Ensure preparation for doctoral capstone experiences includes a literature review, needs assessment, goals/objectives, and a plan to evaluate project outcomes that align with the curriculum design and occurs prior to the commencement of the experience (ACOTE Standard D.1.3)
Document the criteria and process for ensuring valid written agreements between the organization and the program are in effect prior to and for the duration of the capstone experience. The agreement must be signed by all parties (ACOTE Standard D.1.4).
Ensure the length of the doctoral capstone experience be a minimum of 14 weeks' full time, and a minimum of 32 hours per week (may be part time) and must be consistent with the individualized specific objectives and capstone project (ACOTE Standard D.1.5).
Ensure the program has a mechanism to document the students meet the requirements for capstone length ((ACOTE Standard D.1.5).
Develop and document a formal evaluation mechanism for objective assessment of student's performance during and at the completion of the doctoral capstone experience (ACOTE Standard D.1.7).
Ensure completion and dissemination of an individual doctoral capstone projects that relate to the doctoral capstone experience and demonstrates synthesis of in-depth knowledge in the focused area of study (ACOTE Standard D.1.6).
Act as a liaison amongst the students, sites, content mentors, and occupational therapy faculty capstone mentors.
Work collaboratively with faculty/staff to keep all required information for doctoral capstone files current and organized, including affiliation agreements, compliance requirements, written agreements, experiential plans, program-specific learning objectives, documentation of students' time completing capstone experience, mentor certificates, and capstone site and site/content mentor contact information, capstone evaluation information and student evaluation of the experience.
Provide professional development opportunities to site/content mentors regarding the role of the doctoral capstone student, the capstone experience and project, and its outcomes.
Teach Doctoral Capstone Content and/or other courses within area of expertise.

The Simmons University School of Social Work (SSW) is now accepting applications for an AssociateProfessor of Practice position. This is a non-tenure track position with primary teaching responsibilities in our online DSW program. We seek candidates who are licensed practitioners with substantial clinical social work experience to teach across our curriculum.
This position will be located on our campus in Boston, MA, but is eligible to be fully remote. In addition to teaching, candidates will be required to contribute to curriculum development, maintain deep connections to the social work practice community, engage in professional development and/or scholarly activities, and participate in service to the School, University, and social work profession. Program Description:

Principal Duties:
The reader's role is to contribute a new lens to the dissertation process. This lens is used from the initial sketch of the dissertation proposal through the final drafts of the dissertation. Readers often act as polishers; they help to refine the scope of the literature review or redesign the methodology.
The readers put their stamp of approval on both the dissertation proposal and final draft. As such, any major changes the students make to the proposal or final product (e.g., number of subjects, design, or scope of study is changed) will need to be approved by the readers.
Dissertation students will seek clarification on whether readers prefer to review the incorporated edits before the process continues or trust the dissertation chair and student to address the requested revisions independently. Readers are expected to maintain regular communication with both the dissertation chair and the students. While upholding high academic standards is crucial, it is equally important to provide feedback in a constructive manner that fosters learning and empowers students to progress with confidence.
In this role, dissertation readers provide critical feedback and thorough evaluations of dissertation manuscripts to support graduate students in achieving academic excellence. About the Department of Cinema
The Department of Cinema has approximately sixty majors, all of whom take three required production courses that range in size, typically with a maximum of eighteen students. In addition to the two classrooms located in the Cinema House, we have a 2,200-square-foot studio space in the Doane Cinema building and enough filmmaking equipment for every student in every required course to check out their own camera, tripod, and lighting equipment for the semester. As part of the University's Division of Fine Arts, our production curriculum emphasizes artistry and conceptual sophistication as much as technical craft. The department's overall curriculum integrates film/digital production and cinema studies, and encourages students to draw connections between the two.
Each of our required production courses provides a comprehensive overview of every element of the filmmaking process from conception through post-production. This fosters a mindset in which students think of their work in terms of overarching artistic vision rather than technical specialization, while allowing them to explore specific areas of motion picture production, which they may pursue further after graduation.
Teaching
Faculty members are expected to teach five courses per academic year on a 3/2 teaching schedule. The successful job candidate must be able to teach our Elementary Cinema Production, Intermediate Cinema Production, and Advanced Cinema Production courses, each of which covers all aspects of the filmmaking process. In addition to these core courses, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop and teach seminar courses in their area of specialization.
Beyond the ability to teach those courses, an applicant's knowledge and experience with set construction, Virtual Production (Unreal Engine), After Effects, SketchUp, and/or animation will be taken into consideration. Applicants' specific areas of interest and expertise will be noted; however, it is the individual who is fluent in, and can teach, all aspects of the generalized narrative filmmaking curriculum described above who is being sought. This position requires someone who is skilled in all areas of production including screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and directing and who is eager and able to teach those skills to undergraduate students in a liberal arts environment.
Scholarship
Faculty are expected to participate in scholarly and research activities that enhance their professional development and contribute to the discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to produce creative work in their area of expertise.
