RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the department, primarily for the MFT program: expected teaching workload would be nine credit hours (three classes) each Fall and Spring semester;
Mentor and advise MFT graduate students year-round;
Serve as the MFT Clinic Director, reporting to the MFT Program Director under the Department Head
Ensure services provided year-round are within the scope of the clinic and meet appropriate ethical, legal, and competent service standards including the management of clinical assessment and case filing systems;
Facilitate regular clinical trainings and staff meetings with student clinical interns;
Maintain economic viability for the services provided consistent with the policies of the MFT program and HDFS Department including the management of weekly deposits and the MFTC annual budget;

As needed, assist Department Head with development-related activities to support the development and maintenance of the MFTC and towards clinical training and resources for graduate students.

Participate in ongoing MFT program development including capstone development, MFT faculty and program meetings, MFT program retreats, offsite placement management, assisting with accreditation requirements, recruitment efforts and interviewing applicants, and serving on committees as needed;

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related focus; ABD doctoral candidates will be considered but the degree must be conferred prior to the official start date.

** Assistant Professor Applied Forest Ecology and Silviculture - Oklahoma State University** The Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management (NREM) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) invites applications for a full-time, eleven-month, tenure-track position (70% research and 30% teaching) in applied forest ecology and silviculture. The research appointment is within the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station (OAES) and the teaching appointment is in the Ferguson College of Agriculture.
Research : Oklahoma has over 12 million acres of forestland ranging from loblolly pine plantation, shortleaf pine woodlands, and upland xeric oak. These ecologically diverse forestlands provide significant ecosystem services to a large number of forest landowners. We are seeking a scholar who brings expertise and passion for cutting edge research in silviculture and related areas of forest biology in cooperation with NREM faculty and other natural resource professionals. The expectation will be to establish a nationally recognized, externally funded research program to meet the needs of Oklahoma, the region, and the nation. Desirable areas of research include but are not limited to 1) silvicultural treatments to manipulate forest composition, function, structure, and productivity; 2) sustainability of forest production; 3) carbon balance and sequestration in forested ecosystems; and 4) landscape conservation, restoration, and biodiversity.
Teaching: The faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the SAF-accredited forestry undergraduate program that relate to silviculture and forest biology. In addition, the faculty member will be expected to develop a graduate level course in a forestry-related topic. Other teaching-related expectations include advising and mentoring undergraduate students, recruiting, mentoring, and training graduate students, and representing the NREM department at undergraduate recruiting events.
Service: Service is an important component of this tenure-track position and is assumed to be a part of the research and teaching appointment. The faculty member will be expected to serve on Departmental, Division and University committees appropriate to interests, responsibilities, and organizational mission, and provide service to professional forestry-related societies (e.g., serving on committees, manuscript reviews, proposal reviews, etc.).
