JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lead Instructor of Technical Services to join our team in Seattle, Washington.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep, hands-on expertise in commercial HVAC/R systems, electrical infrastructure, and building automation/controls. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of the technical training center, ensuring high-quality instruction and facility readiness.
Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple trades including HVAC/R, electrical systems, and controls
Conduct training of technicians, and trains and supervise a small cadre of support instructors
Support the growth of technical training staff through mentorship, coaching, and performance development initiatives.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC/R, electrical, and controls, including 5+ years in a leadership or director-level role.

Deep knowledge of commercial HVACR systems, electrical distribution, and building automation platforms.
Proficiency in BAS/EMS systems, digital and analog I/O, and programming for HVAC and energy systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. All guided practice instructional credits for adjunct will be paid with an additional pay factor of 1.33. Future advancement in base salary, up to the current maximum of $1,640 per credit, is based upon a combination of years of service accrued at our college and professional development activity.
Degree Stipend:
Master's or Doctorate degree stipends are paid on a prorated per credit rate.

Job Description
Provide instruction to students in the education pathway seeking a degree in K-8 education. Class assignments are primarily in upper division coursework in the BAS-Teacher Education program. Courses in the program are offered in a cohort based, hybrid instructional modality, with classes in the evening, starting at 5pm. Qualifications
Master's degree in Education AND four years of teaching experience in an elementary/middle school setting.

This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience. The salary listed is a range based on per quarter. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department. Evening and/or weekend classes, instruction at satellite Olympic College campuses, and off-campus assignments, including travel to clinical sites, may be a part of the instructional load.
Adjunct positions at the college are open continuously and reviewed on a quarter-by-quarter basis. About the Opportunity About the Opportunity: Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies invites applicants for a non-tenure track part-time faculty position to teach in the Master of Professional Studies in Analytics, located on-ground in Seattle, WA.
The mission of the Master of Professional Studies in Analytics program is to foster foundational analytics skills among working professionals, including preparing data, conducting data analysis such as regression, forecasting, optimization, data visualization, and data story telling. This degree prepares students for entry- and mid-level roles in analytics, such as data analyst, data specialist, database analyst, program analyst, research analyst, or research associate. These roles are general analyst roles and are not specific to any particular professional domains or disciplines (e.g., business, marketing, and engineering). The degree is deeply rooted in experiential learning that is closely linked to professional applications in the work force.
The College of Professional Studies is one of ten colleges of Northeastern University, a nationally ranked private research university. Founded in 1960, the College provides lifelong experiential learning that unleashes the capacities of aspiring individuals in all stages and walks of life. The College teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students on campus and online in more than 90 programs.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
* Masters in an aligned discipline and analytics-industry experience.
* Preference for candidates with a PhD in a sciences field, or similar.
* Demonstration of teaching, coaching, and/or training is required, with a history of successful teaching (online/on ground) at the graduate level is strongly preferred.

Job Summary Bates Technical College is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Invasive Cardiovascular Technician to transition into the role of faculty member to lead and provide instruction for a new Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program starting Fall 2025, for up to 35 hours a week, depending on program needs. This role involves designing and delivering curriculum, preparing labs and facilities, establishing clinical partnerships, and serving as an ambassador for this critical yet lesser-known allied health field. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in invasive cardiovascular procedures, a commitment to mentoring others toward professional success, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare partners to create high-quality, hands-on learning experiences. As the program's champion, this faculty member will play a key role in raising awareness of career opportunities in cardiovascular technology and preparing students for licensure and employment for these in-demand roles.
Salary reflects July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 academic year.

* Teach assigned courses and provide high-quality instruction using a variety of delivery methods, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online.
* Provide hands-on learning experiences, integrating industry best practices in invasive cardiovascular procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, patient care, and more.
* Design engaging, real-world assignments that reinforce learning outcomes and prepare students for professional practice.
* Document and maintain records of demonstrated student competencies to ensure eligibility for professional certification and licensure.
* Guide students in understanding cardiovascular anatomy, procedural protocols, radiation safety, regulatory compliance, and ethical considerations in invasive cardiovascular technology.
* Collaborate with healthcare partners and the program medical director to align the curriculum with workforce needs and secure clinical placements in hospitals, catheterization labs, and other cardiovascular care settings.
* Act as an advocate for the invasive cardiovascular technology field, promoting career pathways and building awareness of this high-demand profession.
* Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement to ensure courses reflect evolving industry standards, accreditation requirements, and advancements in cardiovascular technology.
* Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, students, and clinical partners.
* Coordinate and orient other program faculty members, preceptors, and all other instructional and support staff in the academic and clinical phases of the program
* Provide students with clear course expectations, evaluations, and timelines through well-structured syllabi and course materials.
* Support student recruitment, retention, completion, and career readiness through effective instruction and mentorship.
* Respond to student questions on a timely basis.
* Provide individual and small group instruction to students in a classroom setting, utilizing available technology.
* Ensure that individual, lab, and small group instruction is based on the best available education practices, meet standards for content, and is relevant to students' career goals.
* Maintain student and curriculum records i.e. student progress and attendance, instructional syllabi, course curriculum and plans, and grades.
* Ensure students are prepared for and can obtain relevant industry credentials and certifications.
* Deliver classroom management to maintain a suitable learning environment by responding appropriately to student conduct/problems and aid in solving them in accordance with college procedures.
* In collaboration with the Dean and VPI, provide administrative supervision and organization for the program, including budget management which includes requisition and maintenance control of, and safeguard inventories of equipment and supplies assigned to the program.
Non-Essential/Other Functions
* Actively contribute to and participate in college-wide activities in support of regional accreditation and state and federal requirements.
* Support college student achievement practices to ensure student retention, completion, and progression.
* Participate actively and collaboratively with College Student Services and program advisory committees to support access to employment opportunities for students, and maintain student job placement records.
* Accountable for keeping personal development up-to-date; adding to skills and knowledge through courses that may be available through the Bates Technical College courses, professional development committees, etc.
* Participate actively and collaboratively on committees for college as needed including but not limited to staff recruitment, college councils, etc.
* Additional activities, duties and responsibilities may be added with or without notice to meet college needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities
* This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
* Associates degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology credential, or similar
* Bachelor's degree from an US recognized accredited institution
* Active RCIS Certification, or the ability to obtain before employment begins.
* At least two years' experience in cardiovascular health care; and
* Documented education or experience in instructional methodology.
Allowable Substitution
If necessary, alternative combinations of education and experience may be evaluated by Human Resources for comparability.
