Associate Professor Job In Saint Paul, MN
Teach courses in disciplines such as marketing, finance, and accounting, depending on the candidate's background and department needs. Unless specifically indicated, classes are to be taught in the classroom on our Arden Hills, Minnesota campus. At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2 or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department. We pay $1,000 per credit hour for online courses and $1,250 per credit hour for in person or hybrid courses.
Responsibilities
Prepare course materials within the framework provided by the department, conduct and oversee all class activities, administer assessments, provide feedback to students, and submit final course grades to the University Registrar
Skills
Ability to present learning material clearly; strong organizational skills; potential for structuring courses in ways that clarify students' expectations and facilitate comprehension and engagement; strength in written and oral communication; and demonstrated reliability, which is necessary for providing timely and useful feedback on student work and being responsive to students outside of class time.
Experience
A record of successful college teaching preferred.
Education
Master's degree or sufficient and relevant professional experience required; PhD preferred.

Job Description
The Department of Music at Augsburg University invites studio artist applications to teach applied lessons in 2025.
This search will establish a “pool” of instructors if such openings occur during Spring, Summer, or Fall of 2025. Applicants may be selected from this pool on an as-needed basis throughout the year.
Lesson needs vary by term. In addition to teaching at the undergraduate level, studio artistsare expected to respond to student questions through email and hold regularly scheduled office hours.
Compensation & Benefits
Subject to the collective bargaining agreement with SEIU, Local 284
$60/hr for lessons. 7 or 14 hours per student per term.

The Blended program is part online, part in-person. Position Title: Adjunct Faculty- Art Therapy Field Experience Instructor

Adler Graduate School announces an adjunct Faculty position opening in the M.A. in Counseling beginning October 2024. All qualified candidates will be considered, with preference given to qualified candidates who are willing and able to have a presence on campus and have knowledge and skills with online/ distance learning facilitation.
Faculty members will be part of a team of counselor educators who emphasize the practice of Adlerian Psychology, fostering encouragement and collaboration guided by social interest within the student body and the community. This position is for field experience faculty. The Art Therapy field experience instructor provides clinical instruction and group supervision to students while completing their field experience (practicum and Internship)
Salary Range: $2,000.00/ class
Essential Functions for Field Experience Class (Practicum & Internship) Instructors:
* Teach 2-hour long weekly clinical group supervision class (during sessions 1 and 2 of the term) (10 classes per term).
* Maintain regular contact with the Field Placement supervisor and the student at the placement site, to review progress of the student. Faculty must send at least two email communications at the beginning of session 1 and 2.
* Complete a professional disposition evaluation form on each student during their second term of internship in collaboration with the site supervisor.
* Communicate student and site issues to the Field Experience Coordinator and Art Therapy Program Director in a timely manner.
* Monitor and evaluate students' professional and clinical development throughout field experience, including giving feedback on and tracking written assignments.
* As appropriate, work with staff and academic advisors to manage and/or mediate student issues and educational obstacles.
* Review of students' field experience hours log and evaluation.
Qualifications/Skills:
* Earned a master's degree in counseling or related professions.
* Licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Professional or Marriage and Family Therapist.
* Holds Certification as a Registered Art Therapist that carries Board Certification (ATR-BC) or Art Therapy Credentialed Supervisor (ATCS)
* Has clinical supervision training and experience.
* Evidence of ability to teach and work with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Experience with residential and online teaching platforms and/or online teaching experience preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description
The Department of Department of Art & Design at Augsburg University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach 2D studio art courses in 2025. Areas of focus include drawing and painting.
This search will establish a "pool" of instructors if such openings occur during Spring, Summer, or Fall of 2025. Applicants may be selected from this pool on an as-needed basis throughout the year.
The Department values the intersection of Art & Design and encourages students to think interdisciplinary. Intercultural competency and a commitment to inclusive practice and authentic representation are critical to the approach to visual art and design education at Augsburg. Candidates are encouraged to highlight skills and experiences that demonstrate these abilities and experiences.
Available courses vary by term. Most classes are held during the day, 2-3 days per week. In addition to teaching the class and grading student work, instructors are expected to respond to student questions through email, hold regularly scheduled office hours, reach out to students with course progress information, and communicate regularly with the course coordinator. A course syllabus with calendar, textbook and homework selection, sample activities and exams, and shared office space are typically provided. The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences at the University of Minnesota seeks a full-time, board-certified/eligible Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma to join our dynamic, growing team. Academic rank to be determined by qualifications.
The department includes over 40 faculty members across all ophthalmology subspecialties, including two other Glaucoma Ophthalmologists. The practice is based at the University of Minnesota, with potential opportunities at one or two affiliated sites in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, a metropolitan region with a population of over 3 million. The department enjoys state-of-the-art technology for imaging, laser treatments, and diagnostics and a top-ranked Clinic and Surgery Center that opened in 2016
There will be opportunities for clinical research, as well as supervising, mentoring, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, including curriculum development responsibilities. The successful candidate will engage in research projects and academic activities, either independently or in collaboration, with the goal of securing external research funding. Faculty development opportunities will be available to support the candidate's career goals. Additionally, the candidate will be encouraged to participate in national ophthalmology organizations and foster an academic environment for students, residents, and faculty.
About the Department:
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences is dedicated to teaching, research, service, and delivering exceptional clinical care. Its core academic missions are to educate medical students, post-M.D. trainees (residents and fellows), and students in allied health programs, while advancing knowledge in ophthalmology through both basic scientific and clinical research.
Dr. Silvia Orengo-Nania recently joined the program as Department Head and is focused on expanding the faculty and advancing the department in teaching, research, innovation, and excellence in eye care.
Qualifications:
Completion of an Ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in glaucoma ophthalmology.
Board eligible/certified with American Board of Ophthalmology
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
Pay and Benefits:
This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range this position is $249,647 - $492,450 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE. The salary from the University is dependent upon the academic effort of the person hired.
