Class openings are currently at our high school campuses located in Draper (431 W 11913 South) and West Valley (3636 W 3100 S) Students are taught American-style bronze and silver level social dance steps. Core dances include cha-cha, waltz, swing, and foxtrot, with occasional exposure to bachata, salsa, two-step, and polka. The dance curriculum also incorporates lessons in social civility, kindness, and skill-based manners related to social interactions. Students should leave the class with a sense of accomplishment, belonging, and overall well-being. Candidates are expected to believe in their ability to positively impact students' lives and learning. Their mindset should align with and embrace APA's mission of academic rigor and virtuous character.
