For this position, experienced faculty with an academic doctoral degree (PhD, EdD or similar) and a record of higher education teaching and research/scholarship are preferred. Strong education and research ties exist between the Division of Physical Therapy and the Division of Speech Language Pathology, the Department of Public Health, and the Institute of Public Health. The NYMC Doctor of Physical Therapy program is in a unique position to prepare students for physical therapy roles in public health.
