Specific responsibilities may include: Management of Capital Projects Develop clear statements of work, project charters, and defined deliverables to guide team execution. Uphold and reinforce project management policies, procedures, and best practices across all initiatives. Vendor and Contract Management Prepare and manage contracts and procurement vehicles in support of project execution. Project Team and Stakeholder Communication Serve as the central point of communication for all project-related updates and decisions. Financial Reporting and Risk Management Collaborate with Finance and Project Controllers to provide regular budget updates. As the Project Manager, you will work on-site in Anchorage and be responsible for managing projects including the development of cost estimates and coordination of bid activities for construction, demolition and environmental projects. You will also coordinate with the Construction Management team on determining necessary resources for projects based on cost estimates and budgetary constraints. How will you do it? With direction from the Construction Program Manager, manage projects at the client and contract level. Develop and define criteria for projects' key deliverables and continually monitor critical milestones. Perform project cost estimating and value engineering as appropriate. Oversee all aspects of daily management of field projects including monitoring and coordinating work by field staff and subcontracts. Manage all logistic requirements for remote field projects. Attend site visits to determine scope and accuracy of drawings; may require multi-day visits and/or overnight stay. Review labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to self-perform or subcontract. Prepare instructions to subcontractors with bid solicitation information and solicits subcontractor information & pricing. Solicit vendor quotes and performs analysis for incorporation into project estimate and assists in the procurement and tracking of materials. Prepare project estimates and ensures all factors are properly considered, scheduled, priced and included in the estimate Responsible for review of estimates prepared by others, for completeness and accuracy prior to submission. Assist in the development of project budgets and estimates to complete. Oversee records management of project cost history. Assist in the pricing of change orders or additional work. Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented. Maintain and communicate data on construction and material cost trends affecting project costs. Build effective relationships with customers, specialty contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.     The goal of the New Beginnings Recovery Home Project is to provide comprehensive, coordinated, and evidence-based treatment and services for American Indian / Alaska Native (AI/AN) individuals, including those with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions, who are experiencing homelessness resulting in reduce substance abuse, to improve housing stability. New Beginnings will pay particular attention to meeting the disparate needs of the LGBTQIA population. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the project, performing general management functions including project planning & development, personnel management, and assisting with or performing budgeting and procurement of funds management. This position is responsible for ensuring the administration and coordination of new licensing and opening of the Recovery Home. JOB DUTIES Facilitates quarterly meetings with local housing providers and homeless organizations focusing on housing for the homeless. Maintains a list of housing options with enrollment requirements and is updated semi-annually for staff reference. Implements activities that secure licensing for the Recovery Home to bring about the opening of the home by month six (6). Ensures families are enrolled in the HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) to identify sustainable permanent housing. Conducts follow-up with Evaluator and Trainer to ensure potential fidelity corrections to Evidence Based Practices (EBP) are timely implemented. Advocates in the Fairbanks community on behalf of homeless individuals. Monitors Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMSHA) reports to improve the project processes and make SAMSHA Project Officer-approved adjustments. Uses evaluation data to enhance services, improve quality, and track performance targets ensuring project targets are met. Ensures all reports are completed and submitted as required. Reports must include qualitative and quantitative data, progress addressing quality care related to the Disparity Impact Statement (DIS), barriers encountered, efforts to overcome barriers, evaluation activities for tracking the DIS efforts, and a revised quality improvement plan if the DIS does not meet the quality standards. Verify screening, assessment, diagnostic, evaluation services, crisis emergency services, family services, and respite care have been provided to consumers. Develop an Annual Sustainability Plan in coordination with the BHCC. Oversees and makes recommendations for the training of service providers. Ensures all grant requirements are met by overseeing contract deliverables with responsibility for achieving project goals and objectives.
