Job Responsibilities: FirstService Residential manages over 250 residential homeowners' associations in the greater Kansas City area. FirstService Project Management (FSPM) is currently overseeing and managing 12 projects totaling $20MM in capital expenses. FSPM is an in-house, full-service project management team exclusive to properties managed by FirstService Residential. FSPM is a strategic alliance leveraging our relationship with engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to deliver a first-in class solution-based approach including cost savings and efficiencies back to the association. The FSPM Team provides support to the association Property Manager by assigning a designated Project Manager and/or Project Coordinator. This assigned Project Manager will oversee quality control of all contractors and subcontractors throughout all phases of the project (scheduling, estimating, procuring and construction). The Project Coordinator will work closely with the on-site team to understand and effectively communicate timely information relative to the impact and disruption that may be experienced by the residents. This includes producing weekly resident updates to be shared with the property manager so that the residents can stay informed throughout the entire project. The FSPM Team's Project Management services continually protect the Association's best interests throughout the entire construction process. We essentially run projects from concept to completion.
