Summary/Objective:
The Mechanical Project Executive will provide overall management direction for two or more projects and develop new business opportunities relative to a client, group of clients, or geographical area in the fields of Commercial HVAC or Commercial Plumbing.
Essential Functions:
Plan, organize, and staff key field positions through Director of Commercial Construction or project/labor construction managers
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy
Monitor and develop staff, evaluate performance, and address employee relation issues as warranted for staff
Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client, Architect, and Engineer, to facilitate business development and construction activities
Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule, within budget; investigate potentially serious situations, and implement corrective measures
Represent company in project meetings; assist in negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client
Build and maintain a positive relationship with internal project teams, our customers, subcontractors, and key vendors. Builds positive morale on the project site
Coordinate with various internal departments such as pre-construction, sales, safety, purchasing, CAD/BIM, and fabrication shops as well as client personnel and others to: Develop and maintain a construction plan and schedule. Scope out vendor quotes and purchase equipment and material. Scope out subcontractors and issue subcontracts. Provide guidance for the fabrication schedule
Create Revenue Forecasts, Schedule of Values, Cash Flow analysis, and other financial analysis
Identify changes in scope, prepare pricing, and submit potential change orders to customer
When necessary, develop recovery plans to bring a project that is experiencing issues, such as issues with safety, quality, or production back on track
Distributes final required documentation to subcontractors

Join Our Team as a Heavy Civil ProjectManager at Sargent! Provide technical and administrative support to Project Executive and Superintendent through final completion of project. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Know the job. Review contracts, plans, specs, quality control requirements, geotechnical report, estimate and bid.
* Develop and coordinate job specific responsibilities with the superintendent.
* Communicate with Project Executive and Superintendent.
* Assist Project Executive and Superintendent with Submittals and RFI's.

* Oversee Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
* Assist with internal and external daily reports.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

* OSHA 30-hour training.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

We are seeking a Senior ProjectManager to lead the preconstruction phase of our projects, particularly in the healthcare sector. The role involves understanding the unique features and complexities of each project, ensuring these are reflected in budgets, and assisting in cost management. The Senior ProjectManager will also be responsible for finalizing contracts, overseeing production, quality, and safety, and ensuring timely completion of projects in collaboration with the superintendent.
Responsibilities
+ Understand and incorporate unique project features into budgets, especially regarding schedule and general conditions.
+ Review and update budget clarifications and exclusions with every budget update.
+ Track changes in budget line-items via an accurate budget log.
+ Assist the owner and design team with solutions to mitigate cost overruns and meet client expectations.
+ Finalize the Owner Contract, including clarifications, exclusions, schedule, and general conditions.
+ Ensure the production, quality, safety, and timely completion of assigned projects.
+ Build and sustain relationships with clients and initiate new project leads.
+ Prepare for and attend client introduction meetings and project interviews.
+ Ensure timely award, preparation, and execution of subcontracts and other contracts.
+ Ensure compliance with all site requirements before subcontractors commence work.
+ Prepare final construction budgets and review general contracts.
+ Conduct and manage progress meetings and meeting documentation.
+ Require and oversee weekly progress meetings with subcontractors.
+ Prepare and maintain a change order log to validate cost projections.
+ Approve transactions, invoices, and requisitions ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Essential Skills
