Job Description
The Planning Associate will be a vital force in propelling OIP forward, directly contributing to the delivery of client-centric risk management solutions, including life, long-term care, and annuity products. This dynamic role is perfect for an ambitious and energetic professional ready to jump in, own their client relationships, and ensure a seamless, high-impact, holistic financial planning experience that consistently places the client's best interests first.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Financial Professionals to design and deliver customized insurance planning solutions that put clients first
Support the sales process from start to finish by preparing analyses, illustrations, and planning materials that power confident recommendations
Conduct research on insurance products, risk management strategies, and planning concepts to support innovative, well-informed solutions
Serve as a key point of coordination by maintaining accurate client records, CRM data, and documentation, ensuring a seamless client experience
Assist with client meetings, follow-ups, and ongoing relationship management, helping to build long-term trust and loyalty
Proactively manage workflows, deadlines, and deliverables to keep plans moving efficiently and professionally
Translate complex insurance and planning concepts into clear, client-friendly communication
Uphold Optimized Insurance Planning's commitment to excellence by ensuring compliance, accuracy, and attention to detail in every interaction

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
Experience in client-facing or sales support roles
Prior experience in financial or insurance services including life, annuities, and long-term care (preferred)
Proven ability to build, strengthen, and maintain client relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with excellent time-management and attention to detail
Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
