Reynoldsburg City Schools (RCS), a school district recognized throughout the State for its forward-thinking and progressive culture, is seeking an experienced, driven School Psychologist. School Psychologists provide counseling, instruction and mentoring for students who are struggling with academic as well as social, emotional and behavioral concerns. The successful candidate has a proven record of increasing academic achievement by assessing barriers to learning and helping staff to determine the best instructional strategies to improve learning. Position Description The School Psychologist role provides an opportunity for a talented educator to work with students with various social, emotional, and academic needs across United's four campuses. The School Psychologist will have a number of key responsibilities including the following: conducting testing and assessments for students across grades K-8; collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to provide insights and recommendations for individual education plans; designing individualized education plans to address functional and academic needs; and providing individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, developmental, and behavioral challenges. Salary: The starting salary for a new School Psychologist with a Master's degree is $51,000. The starting salary for other applicants will depend on professional experience and education level.
