JOB TITLE: Research Associate I JOB PURPOSE: Conduct investigative research requiring the application and analysis of standard tests and procedures as defined by the project. Independently and collaboratively conduct laboratory experiments, primarily in the C. elegans system, to publish papers and complete NIH-funded projects designed to understand the organismal, cellular, molecular, and genetic control of animal development and underlying cellular and biochemical processes. Learn, develop and utilize new techniques that facilitate research goals by consulting literature or other University personnel including faculty, students and research assistants.
