Key Responsibilities Perform all laboratory procedures related to the culture, selection, and manipulation of human embryos, including gamete handling, insemination, embryo culture, embryo grading, and cryopreservation. Monitor laboratory conditions and equipment to ensure an optimal environment for embryo development and ART processes. Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients undergoing ART procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures and patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities, including proficiency testing, equipment maintenance, and laboratory inspections. Contribute to research and development initiatives to enhance laboratory protocols and outcomes. Stay updated on advancements in ART and reproductive biology to continuously improve practices. Assist in training and mentoring laboratory staff and students as needed. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Position Requirements Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related science field (required). Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical embryology, excluding experience obtained through an ART program. Skills: Fully trained in ICSI (required). Fully trained in biopsy (preferred). Proficiency in embryology techniques, including cryopreservation, with a strong attention to detail in record-keeping. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient care, privacy, and confidentiality. Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as required. Build fundamental understanding of materials-process-structure-property relationships to solve complex technical challenges and support process optimization within manufacturing. Analyze experimental data using advanced analytical tools (NMR, FTIR, GPC, DSC, TGA, etc.) and prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for key stakeholders. Identify emerging technologies, develop novel concepts, and contribute to intellectual property strategy through invention disclosures and patent support. Stay current with scientific literature and industry trends. Provide technical coaching and direction to junior scientists and technicians, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, and safety-focused lab environment. Ensure all R&D activities align with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements (e.g., ISO, GxP), maintaining strong documentation and adherence to best practices. Qualifications Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred; M.Sc. considered) in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in polymer synthesis, formulation, characterization, or application development. Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with polymer synthesis methodologies and advanced characterization techniques. Proficiency with analytical instrumentation such as NMR, FTIR, GPC, mass spectrometry, rheology, DSC, and TGA. Working knowledge of polymer processing techniques (extrusion, injection molding, mixing, etc.) is highly desirable. Experience with statistical experimental design (DOE), data modeling, and analysis tools.
