This position will be responsible for performing non-research molecular testing to rapidly identify and characterize potential pathogenic bacterial and viral threat agents. Ensures incoming biological samples are processed and triaged maintaining chain of custody. Performs and interprets a variety of specialized tests and strains, detection, and identification of pathogenic microorganisms. Prepares written and oral reports, answers questions, troubleshoot and makes recommendations to the supervisor for inclusion in comprehensive reports on test findings. Maintains and operates equipment including performing calibrations, adjustments, and to operate equipment and instruments properly and in a safe manner. Participates in cross training related to bioterrorism and other public health emergencies. Additionally, will be responsible for maintaining knowledge and skills related to position and program and to carry out all procedures in accordance with proper handling and storage of various biological materials. Must be available 24/7/365 to respond in case of emergency. Rotating weekends and some holidays are required. Kindly be aware that drug screening is a mandatory condition of employment for this position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in microbiology, molecular biology, or related course work in biological sciences.
REQUIRES at least one year of laboratory bench experience, utilizing PCR, aseptic techniques and experience with biological assays. Laboratory training that is assigned or accompanies an associated course is not considered applicable training. Biological Safety Level (BSL)-3 experience is highly desirable.

This position plans, organizes, analyzes, conducts and coordinates professional fish and wildlife management activities in the office, field or laboratory. Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Responsible for applied research & development and commercialization of new post etch cleaners and selective etchants for advanced IC technologies.
* Responsibilities include designing, lab testing and managing new chemical products under rigorous business and customer timelines.
* Specific activities include:
* Investigate and develop new chemical formulations for cleaning integrated circuit wafers with awareness of the status of the intellectual property field.
* Perform wet bench formulation and testing of new chemicals to meet customer requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
* PhD in Chemistry with 1 to 5 years of experience in formulation. Prior industrial research experience in product development in semiconductor technology is highly prefered.
* Experience in developing and applying inorganic or organic solution chemistry to meeting customer requirements. Must be comfortable working safely with hazardous chemicals.
* Understanding Si wafer device processing in wet processing tool operation and process implementation.
* Experience with thin film surface analysis tools such as Ellipsometer, 4-Point probe, XRR, XPS, TOF_SIMS, SEM
* Must have a strong comprehension of surface cleaning methods and chemicals.
* Must be proficient in design of experiments, technical writing, literature search processes and methods and Intellectual property processes and methods.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
A. Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
1. Knowledge of professional environmental principles, practices, techniques, and procedures to effectively perform project development, execution, training, and advisory services in assigned program element.
2. Knowledge to troubleshoot environmental problems requiring investigation of unsanitary or questionable conditions in assigned program(s).
3. Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and other guidance to make decisions and recommendations concerning assigned restoration, compliance, conservation, pollution prevention, and/or integration principles and practices; and health, safety, and security practices.
4. Job Summary:
The Associate Forensic Scientist receives extensive training in relevant forensic science areas in order to become proficient in crime laboratory procedures. Under direct supervision, utilizes chemical, microscopic, chromatographic and comparative techniques and instrumentation to examine, identify and evaluate physical evidence which may include: controlled dangerous substances; blood, urine and other biological specimens; firearms; questioned documents; latent prints; trace evidence; and other items of evidentiary value. Prepares technical reports; provides expert testimony in court; and performs related tasks as required. Receives supervision from a Supervising Forensic Scientist. This is a competitive classification.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in biology, chemistry, or closely related physical or natural sciences with either a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours (or equivalent quarter hours) in chemistry or a minimum of twenty (20) semester hours in chemistry with completed coursework in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry.

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Responsible for applied research & development and commercialization of new post etch cleaners and selective etchants for advanced IC technologies.
Responsibilities include designing, lab testing and managing new chemical products under rigorous business and customer timelines.
Specific activities include:
Investigate and develop new chemical formulations for cleaning integrated circuit wafers with awareness of the status of the intellectual property field.
Perform wet bench formulation and testing of new chemicals to meet customer requirements.
Manage existing product testing and qualification using customer wafers.
Support thin film surface analysis using tools including Ellipsometer, 4-Point probe, XRR, XPS, TOF-SIMS, SEM.
Assist with IP searches and initial patent drafts.
Assist in pilot line builds of successful beaker formulations.
Generating and communicating product data and technical reports internally and to customers
Write and present internal presentation updating technical and business groups on project status.
REQUIREMENTS
PhD in Chemistry with 1 to 5 years of experience in formulation. Prior industrial research experience in product development in semiconductor technology is highly prefered.
Experience in developing and applying inorganic or organic solution chemistry to meeting customer requirements. Must be comfortable working safely with hazardous chemicals.
Understanding Si wafer device processing in wet processing tool operation and process implementation.
Experience with thin film surface analysis tools such as Ellipsometer, 4-Point probe, XRR, XPS, TOF_SIMS, SEM
Must have a strong comprehension of surface cleaning methods and chemicals.
Must be proficient in design of experiments, technical writing, literature search processes and methods and Intellectual property processes and methods.
