Development of Python scripts to control execution of VxWorks and LabVIEW code for test automation. Knowledge of VxWorks test code is desirable for integration with the C code on the Client. Familiarity with VHDL is also desirable for FPGA programming and integration. Test engineers are responsible for the creation and maintenance of assembly, schematic, and parts lists for custom test equipment through the *** document control system. Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, and Intercept Mozaix are used for design documentation. Test engineers are also responsible for the formal documentation of Integration and Test Plans, Environmental Test Plans and Acceptance Test Procedures (customer deliverables) used to document compliance with all customer and design requirements. Qualifications: A minimum of a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM degree and 3+ years of position related experience. A candidate must be knowledgeable in software development using any of C, LabVIEW, or Python programming languages. Knowledgeable using Windows applications such as Visio, Word and other Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of hardware test principals and preferably test experience for spacecraft components.
