Capella Internship Program
Capella's 10-week, in-person internship program (June 8-August 14, 2026) gives students hands-on experience in spacecraft development, operations, and geospatial technology. About the Role and Team
As an intern on the Flight Software team, you will assist in writing the software that runs our satellite fleet in space! Allegion is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Software Engineering (DevOps) Internship. At Allegion, our software teams are focused on building great software that allows our IoT enabled security hardware to do amazing things. In this role you will have the opportunity to do Cloud (AWS), CI/CD(GitLab), IAC(Terraform) development. You will also be exposed to Monitoring/Observability tools and technologies that we use to build best in class solutions. You will get a chance to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

**What You Will Do:**
+ Participate in DevOps discussions and implement automation solutions on real projects
+ Work with a team to produce well-rounded DevOps solutions.
+ Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
+ Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards.
+ Develops, designs, and edits original automation scripts, frameworks and cloud configurations, or modifies existing automation code in GitLab.
+ May specialize in one or more areas of DevOps including IAC, Cloud, CI/CD or Monitoring/Observability.

**Compensation:** This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

As an Embedded Software Engineering Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will be integral to developing, testing, and refining the embedded software on Lunar Outpost hardware. All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience in embedded development
Proficient in embedded C
Experience using version control tools such as Git
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
