Pay rate: $42.02 per hour PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Performs skilled electrical work in the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation and removal of nuclear power plant equipment. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Inspects, repairs, installs and removes motors, generators, transformers, switches, and electrical signal and communication systems, along with their control equipment and wiring. Locates and repairs failures in electrical circuits and equipment. Installs test apparatus on electrical equipment. Documents complex electrical wiring in schematic diagrams. Assists other maintenance and modifications crafts. Provides training and oversight to other personnel. Performs emergency response duties as assigned. To be assigned as needed to support decon, housekeeping, painting, calibration, tool room work and other duties as assigned by the Company. This position requires completion of an Electrician qualification book. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must have satisfactorily completed an accredited electrical training program with a minimum of 2 years electrical experience (Trades, Manufacturing, Navy Nuclear electrical specific or an INPO accredited electrical maintenance training program). May be subject to certification and recertification with periodic reviews if required by NRC or industry standards. Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position. Must pass a validated aptitude test. Must meet requirement of NRC psychological testing regulations. Must satisfactorily complete Plant Access and Radiation Safety Training, including Respirator Qualifications and maintain unescorted access.

What We Offer: Danforth invests in you and your future with directed employee engagement, team support, career development, and mentoring Paid training/forklift certification What We Ask of You: Provide tools and materials to various locations within the region while maintaining high levels of safety and professionalism Physical ability to load and unload cargo Make on-time deliveries to and from various jobsites and other destinations in the safest and most efficient manner possible with no delay to the field employees or customers Confirm all loaded items to ensure shop order is complete and verify proper attachment of all items before vehicle is started and you leave the shop/jobsite Assist in shop order process of pulling and returning tools for job sites by checking safety and accessories of each tool for proper operation, and keeping inventory for future jobs Maintain cube vans by unloading, inspecting and restocking for state of readiness and quick response jobs Execute minor shipping/receiving duties as assigned by Tool Shop Manager Assist at warehouse, and sheet metal shop when needed Building & grounds duties should be competed when necessary, including, landscaping, snow shoveling, garbage changes, dumpster pickups and storing gas bottles properly Experience & Competencies: High school degree or equivalent 18+ years old Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and adhere to safe driving rules and all safety requirements Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends Strong communication skills; oral, written, and computer Must have integrity, enthusiasm and willingness to represent the company in the most professional, positive manner. The estimated compensation range for this role is $18/hourly. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location. John W.
