Role Summary/Purpose: The VP, HR Information Management will lead the strategy, governance, development, and execution of HR information management initiatives. This role ensures that all HR policies, procedures, and resources are governed, accurately maintained, and effectively disseminated to enhance HR service delivery, operational compliance, and employee engagement. The VP will collaborate closely with HR leaders, Legal, Compliance, IT, and business partners to embed strong governance frameworks and leverage technology to drive continuous improvement in HR information sharing.

Essential Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce a comprehensive HR information management and governance strategy aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and HR transformation initiatives.
Establish and maintain HR content governance frameworks, including review cycles, version control, approval workflows, access controls, and audit trails to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Oversee the creation, curation, maintenance, and controlled distribution of HR information assets while ensuring compliance with legal and internal governance standards.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Business Partners, Legal, and Compliance to consolidate, standardize, and govern HR information and best practices across the enterprise.
Drive ongoing compliance assessments and audits related to HR information management content and systems, identifying risks, and implementing remediation plans as needed.
Utilize data analytics and governance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of information management processes, adherence to governance policies, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Internal Communications and Employee Experience teams to ensure HR information assets effectively support timely, clear, and consistent employee communications and change management efforts.
Act as a trusted advisor and change agent promoting awareness, adherence, and adoption of information management governance principles and tools across HR.
Ensure alignment of HR information governance practices with enterprise-wide information governance, data privacy, and security protocols.
Coordinate with the Data Office and functional stakeholders to manage Information Lifecycle Management process and activities
Support other areas of Governance as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field; or in lieu of a degree, 10 years of professional experience.
6+ years experience in an HR or Governance focused position
Deep understanding of HR processes, policies, compliance, regulatory frameworks, and technology solutions that support HR governance and operations.
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Design, test, implement and validate collections and internal recovery contact strategies for the email, SMS / text, phone (dialer, dialer messaging, outbound IVR) and letter channels. The scope may be expanded to include implementation of other collections contact strategies (e.g., skip). The Collections Strategy Delivery team utilizes multiple platforms and tools including Fiserv, Rules, Strategy Manager (Experian PowerCurve), SAS, Jira and Tableau and works with several internal teams and vendors.
Lead the capacity management and prioritization of all Collections Strategy Delivery work and communicate to key stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities:
Own the development, testing, execution, and ongoing optimization of legal recovery strategies for all Synchrony businesses / platforms, clients and products, including segmentation, legal vs. non-legal channel optimization, legal channel management, and post-judgment recovery including dormant (non-performing) judgment strategies.
Lead advanced analytics and predictive modeling initiatives (e.g., CHAID/CART, champion-challenger testing) to enhance legal recovery effectiveness, profitability, and efficiency.
Lead rigorous business case development, risk assessment, implementation, and validation of all new or modified strategies, ensuring swift and successful rollouts.
Develop a transformational legal recovery strategy vision and multi-year roadmap. Lead discussions with executives to ensure they understand and support the future state vision and roadmap. Conduct benchmarking and industry research to identify legal strategy and operational best practices.
Actively manage a portfolio of legal recovery strategies, including tracking performance and providing regular updates to senior management and to other stakeholders.
Drive cross-functional partnerships with Recovery Operations, Legal, Compliance, Fair Lending, Business Intelligence / Reporting, Model Development, external law firms, and other stakeholders to ensure aligned, effective, and compliant execution.

Essential Responsibilities:
Design, test, implement and validate collections and internal recovery contact strategies for the email, SMS / text, phone (dialer, dialer messaging, outbound IVR) and letter channels. The scope may be expanded to include implementation of other collections contact strategies (e.g., skip). The Collections Strategy Delivery team utilizes multiple platforms and tools including Fiserv, Rules, Strategy Manager (Experian PowerCurve), SAS, Jira and Tableau and works with several internal teams and vendors.
Lead the capacity management and prioritization of all Collections Strategy Delivery work and communicate to key stakeholders. Create and implement robust and transparent prioritization and scheduling processes that enable customers to understand available capacity, prioritize new work and obtain accurate scheduled implementation dates.

Role Summary/Purpose: The VP, Fraud/GEN AI Validation COE is responsible for performing model validation for all the fraud models, and ensure they are meeting the related MRM policies, standards, procedures as well as regulations (SR 11-7). In addition, this role will establish and maintain a validation center of excellence to support the model governance team in designing the quality assurance process and leading the execution across all validations, act as an incubation center to test and run innovation, provide standardized training and staff development, and support the improvement of the model risk professional practice to improve the model stakeholder experience.
This role requires high level of expertise with minimal technical supervision to serve as project lead as well as being accountable for validation results. The COE will closely partner with the model governance lead as well as other validation leads to drive tangible improvements to the model risk practice.

Essential Responsibilities:

Model Validation COE - The candidate is expected to draw experience from validation to establish a validation center of excellence and support the model governance lead to drive best practice, specifically the objectives of the COE are:
GEN AI Model Risk Management: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive, end-to-end governance framework for Generative AI models, establishing clear standards, procedures, documentation templates, and process to effectively manage model risks such as hallucination, accuracy, and bias. This framework will enable the organization to consistently monitor and control these critical aspects throughout the model lifecycle, ensuring reliable and trustworthy AI outputs with disciplined and transparent oversight.
Quality assurance and Capacity Planning: Establish and maintain a quality assurance process to thoroughly review and assess validation practices. Proactively challenge the status quo to identify gaps or improvement opportunities in validation efforts. Provide guidance on best practices, support capacity planning, and collaborate with the Model Governance team to recommend and implement enhancements that strengthen the overall validation framework.
Strategy & Innovation: Serve as an incubation center to explore, test, and implement innovative approaches-leveraging Generative AI capabilities-to accelerate and improve the speed, efficiency, and quality of model validation processes.
Professional Practice: Support the Model Governance team to improve 1LOD model owner experience and bring value focused validation practice.
Model Validation:
Accountable for all fraud model risk management and drive the timeline and completion of the projects with minimal guidance.
Supervisory role working with junior reviewers in validation projects.
Handle escalation of issues and dispute with model owner level independently. See through the issues remediation, root cause analysis, and potential risk acceptance.
Support regulatory examinations and internal audits of the modeling process and selected models samples.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
5+ years of experience in acquisition/transaction fraud model development or model validation in financial services, with experience in CI/CD frameworks preferred.
Experience in generative AI model validation, framework development, or complex use case development.
Proven experience automating validation processes and reducing cycle times using AutoML, generative AI, and related tools, including the ability to design and build necessary supporting infrastructure
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field; or 9+ years of equivalent experience in model development/validation within financial services, banking, or retail.
4+ years hands-on experience with data science and statistical tools such as Python, SPARK, Data Lake, AWS SageMaker, H2O, and SAS.
4+ years of machine learning experience, including handling large datasets and trend analysis.
4+ years applying US regulatory requirements for Model Risk Management.
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Desired Characteristics:
Strong knowledge of Model Risk Management regulatory requirements with a proven track record of compliance delivery.
Experience in people and project management, including developing actionable plans, executing effectively, and meeting deadline-driven objectives.

The salary range for this position is 135,000.00 - 230,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Essential Responsibilities:
Design, test, implement and validate collections and internal recovery contact strategies for the email, SMS / text, phone (dialer, dialer messaging, outbound IVR) and letter channels. The scope may be expanded to include implementation of other collections contact strategies (e.g., skip). The Collections Strategy Delivery team utilizes multiple platforms and tools including Fiserv, Rules, Strategy Manager (Experian PowerCurve), SAS, Jira and Tableau and works with several internal teams and vendors.
Lead the capacity management and prioritization of all Collections Strategy Delivery work and communicate to key stakeholders. Create and implement robust and transparent prioritization and scheduling processes that enable customers to understand available capacity, prioritize new work and obtain accurate scheduled implementation dates.
Lead Collections Strategy Delivery support for strategic initiatives (including new client introductions, new product introductions, conversions, deconversions) and infrastructure initiatives (e.g., cloud migrations for system of record and analytics). The VP, Controller & Finance Transformation is the senior accounting and controllership leader for the company, balancing hands‑on execution with executive-level ownership of accounting outcomes, systems, and scalability to support the company's rapid growth, expanding product offerings, and increasing complexity. This role focuses on building efficient and well-controlled accounting processes, with particular emphasis on optimizing the recently implemented Workday Financial platform.
The role oversees Accounting Operations (Cash, A/P, A/R) and Accounting Control (General Ledger), and partners closely with FP&A, Technology, and Product/Business teams to ensure accounting, financial reporting, and control requirements are effectively embedded into systems, workflows, and new product development initiatives. This role is expected to operate with strong controllership fluency and to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting outcomes through leadership and collaboration.
This position is designed for a senior accounting leader with demonstrated experience across traditional controllership functions and hands‑on finance transformation delivery. Success in the near‑term will be demonstrated through enhanced automation and scalability, optimization of processes and people, shortening of the monthly close and reporting cycle, and improvement of reporting and analytical tools available to finance and business executives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting Operations, Control & Finance Transformation
Provide leadership and functional ownership across the Accounting Control and Accounting Operations teams to optimize and scale transactional accounting workflows, general ledger control, and financial close and reporting processes
Lead the post-go‑live stabilization and ongoing optimization of Workday, overseeing and developing the Workday System Administrator as a core resource and business partner
Embed accounting logic, controls, and validation rules into systems and data pipelines to reduce manual effort and risk
Partner with Technology & Data teams on integrations, data integrity, and change management controls
Explore and leverage AI technologies, as they evolve, to enable more efficient and effective processes while maintaining strong oversight and controls
Drive adoption of best practices to support long‑term system health and scalability and improve reporting capabilities for finance executives and business partners
New Products & Growth Enablement
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Business teams to support new products, revenue streams, and business models from concept through launch and scale
Serve as the accounting representative in cross‑functional growth initiatives to ensure accounting and reporting requirements are embedded early and scale effectively
Financial Reporting
Oversee external financial reporting, including GAAP financial statements and required regulatory, lender, and investor reporting
Support audit readiness and the implementation of new accounting standards, as applicable
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a change agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across people, processes and technology
Develop team members supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, systems, and transformation initiatives
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA license required
Experience with ERP implementation/optimization projects
Combined Big 4 public accounting and fintech, financial services or other complex regulated industry experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in accounting operations and financial close and reporting processes
Major hands‑on ERP project experience (design, build and optimization); Workday familiarity is a plus
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting requirements
Outstanding project & change management skills: Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, balance multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously, and motivate stakeholders to collaborate
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional leaders to influence business outcomes beyond the accounting function, as well as externally with auditors and users of financial reports
Entrepreneurial mindset: Self‑motivated and eager to identify efficiencies, be hands‑on to implement improvements, and champion change
Exceptional organization, keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent written communication skills including production of clear and concise process documentation
