Job Description:
The Distribution & Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading the warehouse, shipping and receiving activities of the South Bend and Bendix facilities, ensuring customer satisfaction. The role will be accountable for operations activities involving environmental health and safety, people management, and inventory & logistics planning, analysis & reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience managing seasoned operators and leads, inventory management, extensive experience with SAP S4 Hana, effective communication skills, logistics experience and proven ability to implement Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
Primary Duties
* Fully support facility safety programs and actively contribute to continuous improvement of facility safety performance.
* Ensure OSHA and DOT requirements are met in the warehouse areas and collaborate actively to promote safe practices and efforts throughout the facility.
* Manage plant systems to maximize employee safety and minimize environmental risk. Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and assist the H.B. Fuller EHS team.

Compensation:

You Will:
Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures on milk and product flow systems between production cycles.
Manually control valves and piping to prepare clean in place cycle.
Operate HMI to perform sanitation sequence.
Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, monitor, and inspect equipment for issues and enter defects when necessary to correct.
Coordinate work activities with work associates on the same or different shifts.
Obtain and replace sanitation chemicals as needed.
Use pressured water hoses, caustic and acid chemicals to clean production equipment
Operate Forklifts and Scissor Lifts.

Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of systems that control and automate machinery and processes. The ideal candidate is not only technically adept but also innovative, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.
