As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you are a key member of one of the nation's fastest growing companies. Rather than working in a call-center environment, here the CSR will form tactical business relationships with specific sales partners and customers to ensure that the needs of both are met in a timely and efficient manner. The CSR serves as a liaison to provide product information, solutions, and excellent customer service. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will act as a liaison and provide product information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The CSR will resolve customer issues in a timely manner and provide exceptional customer service to all clients. Responsibilities: Answer customers' questions about products, prices, and availability. Process customer invoices, bills of lading, and purchase orders relative to material and machinery. Follow-up with customers and vendors regarding order confirmations, ship dates, and pricing. Process invoices through customer portals and websites as they require Obtain vendor quotes and communicate pricing to customers and salespeople. Process vendor payables. Research and resolve billing issues. Confirm freight rates and invoicing with freight carriers. Assist sales team in researching and resolving customer needs. Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts of materials and parts. Review purchasing reports and place stock orders accordingly. Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve problems on damaged items. Verify outbound orders. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales. Special projects as assigned. Qualifications & Required Competencies: Bachelor's Degree preferred High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required. Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. Manages the IT team from developers, project managers, network/security administrators, quality analysts, and technical support staff. This includes hiring, training, building the team as needs grow. Additionally, providing support with technical or employee issues as needed. Oversees and supports the software development cycle and methodologies, such as agile. Provides technical support as needed, such as system design, problem solving, and solution evaluation related to alternate or complimentary external software. Leads planning and execution with the dev team. Supports design, development, testing, and implementation of all software development related primarily to NetSuite customizations, integrations, and ongoing optimization. Ensures appropriate documentation related to any software development. Collaborates with other departments, Product Managers/BA's, or other stakeholders to define best software/system solutions that meet company's needs and business requirements. Supports business process improvement solutions. This may take the form of workflows, process automation, etc as best meets needs of different departments and processes. Monitors systems performance and oversees maintenance of all systems and software including appropriate licensing renewals. Oversees and supports network infrastructure, servers, and appropriate monitoring and maintenance. Responsible for overall security of systems and processes, including business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Works with cloud-based technologies for computing, storage, SaaS solutions. Establishes appropriate processes, policies, and SOPs by which the department operates. Supports company's Product/BA/Project Managers and Business teams to assess business requirements and impact on NetSuite ERP applications and future development. Supports company's Ecommerce platform, team, and continued development of new enhancements, features, and supply offerings. Oversees IT purchases, cost control, and budgets as required. Oversees the selection, approval, maintenance, and performance of company hardware and software solutions. Maintains and builds relationships with external vendors and solution providers. Provides leadership and strong communication skills to the team. Also leads by staying current on new and relevant technologies in the IT field. Sets Goals and Objectives for the IT Department with a strategic focus aligned with the company's needs and strategy. Fosters and sets an intention and vision for Innovation. This requires technical aptitude with out-of-the box thinking to drive solutions that create additional value for the company. This can extend beyond process improvement/automation, for example, to technologies such as IoT, RFID, 3D printing, machine learning, AI, etc and how these solutions might be used to benefit the company. Education, Experience, and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required 3+ years related experience as supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required. 3+ years of prior software development experience. Implementation of cloud-based SaaS solutions preferred. NetSuite experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with Department Managers, all internal users, and external vendors. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Thorough understanding of company strategy and goals. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Stays current with latest technologies and developments in appropriate field.
