The Department of Clinical and Translational Sciences is seeking a Data Systems Analyst to support and advance the Clinical Research Information Systems ecosystem. Reporting to the Director and Analytics Manager, this role serves as a subject matter expert in the OnCore Clinical Research Management System (CRMS), the Biomaterial Tracking and Management (BTM) system, and broader clinical research workflows, with a specialized focus on business intelligence and analytics. The analyst will design and enhance the Clinical Research Data Mart by integrating data from multiple sources, including OnCore, web IRB, BTM, Cancer Registry, EPIC, and G/L, using ETL tools, SQL, and modern data lakehouse platforms such as Databricks. They will develop predictive and statistical analytics solutions, define and translate business requirements into technical specifications, and create dashboards, reports, and data pipelines using Tableau, Jasper Reports, SSRS, SSIS, and Excel.
The role also provides hands-on application support for OnCore and BTM, manages release testing and vendor coordination, and helps build and maintain system interfaces such as EPIC integrations. Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems or a closely related quantitative field.
