What You'll Do: As a BCBA at APT, you'll take the lead in building customized, compassionate treatment plans that empower kids to communicate, connect, and thrive in their everyday lives. We know each day may be different, but you can expect a typical day to include: Supporting and mentoring RBTs and BCaBAs Developing and implementing personalized behavior plans (APT uses NET, or, child-led therapy) Providing hands-on modeling and occasional 1:1 therapy Collaborating and communicating with families, caregivers, and therapy teams to develop and provide resources Documenting care, treatments, and billing using the Raintree EMR system Work in partnership with OT, PT, ST and make appropriate referrals for additional therapies, as needed. Provides direct 1:1 care for a small portion of expected billing hours to model appropriate implementation of ABA strategies. Celebrating progress and making therapy fun! What You Will Do: BCaBAs assess, develop, implement, and document positive behavior treatment plans to be used across settings, reducing over time as skills develop. The goal of the treatment plan will be to equip the patient to communicate his/her needs, participate in age-appropriate activities and have behavior inventions which reflect position approaches. Functions in a supervisory capacity and provides guidance to all areas of programming including training of RBTs and BCaBAs, as well as creation and revision of behavior plans for patients. Facilitates and assists in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families. Completes assessments and develops appropriate behavior plans to address caregiver and therapist concerns. Provides on-going support and training of behavioral intervention to the other members of the child's therapy team and family/caregiver support members. Associates in Pediatric Therapy offers: Comprehensive paid training and certification support Paid study time and exam preparation assistance Collaboration and support with experienced Lead RBTs and BCBAs Career and leadership ladders to encourage growth and career development Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company provided life insurance Disability insurance Paid Time Off 401K Match What You'll Do: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for direct client care and provide high-quality early intervention services with support and direction from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Provides Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in an outpatient clinic setting, home-based or school/community setting. Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behavior analysts/consultants. Facilitates and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families. Provides detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided. Discusses appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed, with BCBA. Completes all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT. Proactively communicates and collaborates effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client. Participates in therapy meetings as scheduled. Attends CEU trainings as needed to maintain professional license requirements. Complies with federal, state, and local certification requirements. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements What We're Looking For: Our Ideal RBT Candidate Has: High school Diploma or GED Current RBT certification a plus!
