The Registered BehaviorTechnician (RBT) is responsible for direct client care and provide high-quality early intervention services with support and direction from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
RBT Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in an outpatient clinic setting, home-based or school/community setting.
Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behavior analysts/consultants.
Facilitates and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families.
Provides detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided.
Discusses appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed, with BCBA.
Completes all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT.
Proactively communicates and collaborates effectively with fellow Registered BehaviorTechnicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
Participates in therapy meetings as scheduled.
Attends CEU trainings as needed to maintain professional license requirements.
Complies with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

Patient Care Tech, Behavioral Health Shift: Full Time Days, 7a-7p; Weekends Only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Where You'll Be: Baptist Health LaGrange is adding a brand new 11-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. Our focus will be providing care for adults 18 and older who require hospitalization for behavioral health needs in a safe and structured environment. The unit utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide care for patients. Team is made up of registered nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, recreational therapist, and psychiatrist.
What You'll Do:
Assists with routine patient care as delegated by nursing staff
Assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, I & O and documents
Complete safety rounds for patients and unit as delegated/assigned
Maintains clean and tidy patient room/environment
Responds to requests for service and assistance in a positive manner
Advocate for patient
Why You're a Great Fit:
You have had previous experience in behavioral health (not required)
You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
You have or will obtain BLS certification
