The flexibility and not too structured schedule, but the workload can be demanding despite the flexible schedule.
The lack of structure, which can make it challenging for employees to navigate tasks and projects efficiently due to unclear guidelines or organizational processes. Additionally, there may be instances of perceived unfairness, such as favoritism, which can foster resentment and contribute to a negative workplace culture.
My favorite perk/benefit is the opportunity for continuous learning and personal development
What I like best about most of the leadership team is their approachability and friendliness. However, they often seem overwhelmed by the complexities of their roles.
I would implement structured diversity training programs for all employees, establish clear guidelines for fair treatment and advancement opportunities, and foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and celebrated in decision-making processes.
I extensively researched the company and its industry, familiarizing myself with current trends, challenges, and key players.
My compensation at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is generally in line with industry averages, especially considering the nature of working for an association where compensation may not be as high as in certain leadership positions within the private sector.
Regarding gender diversity, I appreciate the representation of many women within our organization. However, I recognize the need for improvement in other areas of diversity to ensure a more inclusive workplace that reflects a broader range of demographics.
What brings me the most joy at work is the opportunity to collaborate with supportive coworkers and engage with our diverse and passionate members, fostering meaningful connections and driving positive impact within the industry.
