Responsibilities:

Ensure proper sanitation of all eating surfaces, child desks and tables, kitchen counters, food heating and refrigeration equipment.
Ensuring proper inventory of all janitorial and maintenance supplies.
Maintain in good order all cleaning, maintenance, and utility storage areas.
Under the direction of the Maintenance Coordinator, manage work orders via Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), appropriate chemical use and storage in school environments, and safe work practices.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED.
Janitorial experience.
Must be able to operate agency motor vehicles and possess a valid New York Stat operator's license with a driving history acceptable to the agency.

The Behavioral Health Specialist will model & support clients with developing coping and social skills, and emotional regulation to promote independence and reduce the risk of needing a higher level of care. Additionally, they will collaborate with clients, families, and other service providers to identify strengths and develop behavior management plans to help stabilize the youth/young adults in their home, school, and community settings.
Responsibilities:
· Assists client and family members with identifying triggers and supports.
· Complete assessments and consents with youth/young adult and caregivers.
· Maintains consultative working relationships within the administration and countywide agencies.
· Participates in weekly treatment team and individual supervision for case consultation and to ensure that regulations are followed.
· Maintains required face-to-face hourly contact with child/family as set in the individual service plan.

Position Summary:
The Meals on Wheels (MOW) Driver will primarily be responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients.
Responsibilities:
Deliver meals to homebound clients on a daily basis.
Use appropriate heating and cooling devices when packing meals.

Maintain accurate daily route sheet.

Position Summary:

Position Summary:
Union Settlement Adult Education is seeking a GED Instructor to provide in-person support for GED certification. All test subjects are to be taught in English. The GED Instructor reports to the Adult Education Director and has the overall responsibility of the development and implementation of the academic curriculum, program compliance and quality assurance. The agency has embraced the concept of a fully-integrated system of care for all consumers of service. This requires that all agency staff assess the client's needs holistically and see it as their responsibility to connect the client with services needed - internal or external to the agency - regardless of the door through which the consumer enters the system.
The GED Instructor is responsible for providing individual and group instruction to adult learners studying to obtain their High School Equivalency (HSE) and those Union Settlement Adult Education participants seeking to enhance their skills through Adult Basic Education (ABE). This role assesses the educational needs of each Union Settlement Adult Education participant who expresses an interest in pursuing education as part of their career advancement goals. It also, develops and implements program curriculum to be delivered via group instruction in-person format. The GED Instructor monitors participant progress, communicating regularly across teams and providing direct and timely feedback to participants with a trauma-informed approach. This role also works closely with Union Settlement Adult Education's Community Resource Coordinators to support participants as they advance into postsecondary educational and training opportunities. Union Settlement Adult Education is seeking an individual with strong content knowledge in adult education with the ability to teach a diverse group of adult learners with varying skillsets, abilities, and employment goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide ABE instruction that will help them increase to one NRS level (transition to an HSE level)
Provide HSE instruction to adult students, ages 18 & up, to help them obtain the necessary skills to be able to read, write, and compute proficiently pass the GED HSE exam.
Instruct in the program in a manner that supports student retention consistent with the Adult Learning Common Core Standards while assisting students in meeting education goals. These duties will include the following:
Deliver appropriate ABE/HSE instruction

Position Summary: The Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the program, which is funded by the Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD). Position Summary:
The Mental Health department offers individual, group, family, and couples' therapy to community members. We provide services to clients ranging from early childhood to people experiencing end of life issues. We offer medication intervention as well as psychiatric evaluation and management. For enrolled clients, the clinic has a 24/7 crisis line, monitored by clinical supervisors. We take a trauma informed perspective to the work with the community, which includes various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Psychodynamic, and creative art therapies. We support a strength based, client centered approach to the treatment. We view mental health issues through a systematic lens of micro, mezzo and macro levels of human experiences and stressors.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy and supportive counseling to clients.
Provide comprehensive assessment of all clients on caseload.
Conduct treatment planning for all clients on caseload.
Provide crisis intervention for all clients on caseload.
Provide psycho-education to clients.
Conduct outreach to clients in order to ensure their attendance at appointments.
Complete all appropriate documentation for each client on caseload.
Collaborate with other service providers to bring services to clients.
Actively participate in supervision.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
LMSW, LCSW, LCAT, or LMHC.
Ability to work independently at a satellite clinic (or telehealth).
Excellent computer skills.

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, the Assistant Cook assist with the purchasing, preparation, and service of food for breakfast and lunch, as well as assisting with the food preparation and service for satellite centers and the Meals on Wheels program.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals at Senior Center, in accordance with Department for the Aging (DFTA) and New York City Department of Health (DOH) guidelines.
Assist the Cook with preparation, cooking, and packing of meals for satellite sites and the Meals on Wheels program.
Responsible for the safe handling of food, including cooking and storing meal according to temperature and safety guidelines at all times.

The FTC Facilitator will utilize a strength based, family-centered approach to conducting conferences with families and other stake holders in order to ensure families are planning towards making positive change, and that cases move timely and appropriately towards closure.
Ensure that solutions and/or next steps are measurable, have time limits and are matched to needs of family and service providers to accomplish next steps.
Facilitator is responsible for confirming appointments with families, 24 hours before the appointment, and reminding them that to invite supports to the conference and them adding the notes appropriate systems.
FTC may be in person or virtual depending on the need of ACS and the family
Copies of FTC agreements should be completed by facilitator and provided to families.
The FTC facilitator is expected to be prepared to conduct the FTC by reviewing the case and discussing it with the case planner prior to the conference.

Ensures targets set forth by DSS are achieved in area such as Outreach and Recruitment, Orientation and Engagement as well as the Screening and Selection process. The Program Manager will supervise the Foster Parent Recruiters, Foster Parent Trainers and the Data Management Record Coordinator. Ensures foster homes meet regulatory standards and agency expectations and records are in compliance. Represents agency at events and DSS meetings.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with experience in child welfare or foster care required. Recruiting and training experience strongly preferred. Must have excellent engagement and assessment skills, good writing and computer skills. Must have a valid license and access to a working vehicle.

Responsible for providing casework services to families/children on assigned caseloads including direct supportive treatment services appropriate to meeting needs in the case; helps the client get connected to other needed services. Serves as a member of the treatment team for cases assigned. The Case Worker participates as a member of a treatment team for each assigned case. In addition, they are responsible for communicating with other team and staff members to ensure integrated service delivery to the child/family and serves as a primary provider of appropriate direct services to the child's family based on need assignment and the treatment plan for the child/family.
