    Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) is seeking an Associate Master Scheduler to join our Production Control Team in Kirkland, WA. requires working onsite at the facility five days a week. The Associate Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments in accordance with the production schedule. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Associate Master Scheduler will: Serve as Production Controller for critical product families, based on business strategy. Communicate schedule updates to production teams. Assist with shortage tracking and expediting. Support creation of Inventory health level strategy and formulas. Advise PC of updated levels, monitor stock levels for surges and work with MS to redirect resources.• Assist Supply Chain in determining and maintaining VMI levels for MMC lines. Act as a focal for CRR supply planning. Drive planning strategy implementation for 1 or more MMC lines. Coordinate with CRR to determine needed stock. Enter and maintain CRR supply plan in ERP. Measure and monitor CRR Response time TAT for requests and adjust strategies as needed based on business objectives. Respond to requests for sales commitments of parts outside lead time by coordinating with Supply Chain and other functional groups. Monitor TAT for requests and adjust strategies as needed based on business objectives. Produce capacity plans and monitor requirements for TAKT updates for MMC assembly lines. Produce MMC assembly requirement data for SIOP Operations Review packages. Support schedulers in developing top level capacity plans for human and machine resources. Adjust schedules as necessary based on plans and constraints. Perform consumption of sales forecasts for sole use customers to maintain accuracy of ERP system. Lead KATA experiments and participate in Kaizens regarding planning and supply activities, such as Heijunka creation and revision, kit release and kanban systems. Anticipate and mitigate immediate risks to schedule adherence. Notify MS of risk mitigation strategies and actions. Notify Product groups of risk as required. Support creation and execution of weekly production schedules. Enter and maintain schedule data, including build plans, Independent demands and sales forecasts in ERP All other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: High school diploma required. APICS or related certification preferred. Demonstrates competency (typically 5+ years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position). Technical Skills: Data base user interface and query software. Enterprise resource planning (ERP)/ Material resource planning (MRP) software. Office Suite Software (advanced knowledge and skills). Work Environment: Lifting heavy items (typically 25 lbs.) on occasion. Pyrometry Tech (Lab Tech) In this role, the team member will perform all necessary calibrations of temperature and pressure-controlled equipment. This person will become well versed in this discipline and be certified in the use of the calibration stamp for all pyrometry elements. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting of equipment and setups with independence while knowing when to reach out for assistance. Functions and Responsibilities * Performs all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures. * Proficient written and verbal communication skills. * Works efficiently with personal computers and related software such as MS Office. * Performs pressure calibrations on various pressure sensor types. * Performs calibrations on temperature-controlled equipment such as furnaces, heated solution tanks, dryers, and other measuring devices such as flow benches. * Works to internal and external specifications to ensure all compliance requirements are met. * Properly utilizes and maintains all pyrometric tools and measuring devices. * Tests, records, and analyzes results for internal and external review. * Detects, evaluates, and implements improvements within the pyrometric discipline. * Contributes to enhance the pyrometric online documentation and instructions. * Assists in the training of other team members where expertise has been demonstrated. Requirements * Demonstrates proper and safe operation of equipment such as, but not limited to, electronic measurement devices such a multi-meters, fabrication and use of thermocouples, master electronic measurement devices, ladders, work platforms with the appropriate safety equipment worn. * Personal protection equipment includes, but not limited to, various types of gloves, safety glasses, full face shields, hearing protection, respirators, high voltage protection and fall protection. * This person will be trained in accordance with the team's training matrix to build knowledge and expertise in all modules. * High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
