Potential learning opportunities include active production support, deployment of lean manufacturing methodologies, product and process improvements, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) updates and equipment repair and maintenance. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** Under the supervision of experienced engineers, you will be responsible for manufacturing engineering activities to support various products and processes which may include: + Perform time studies and maintains manufacturing instructions, initiating change requests, and uploading information into the ERP. Perform time studies to supplement line balancing. + Drives continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste, cost, and defects in Production, repair station, and in business processes. + Assist Manufacturing Engineers in maintaining methods, work instructions, and operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. + Oversee a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area (duties include but are not inclusive of ordering of materials, building benches, assisting with safety requests, etc.) + Clear minor equipment difficulties and assists or performs maintenance and repairs. + Respond to issues on the production floor.
