JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Writer works in the Engineering Services department to support all product lines at Astronics AES. The Technical Communications team transforms complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accurate content for the intended audience in the required format. We write Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Service Information Letters (SILs), user manuals, and other customer-facing documents to support new and sustaining products.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Write and edit technical content in Simplified Technical English (STE) for hardware and software products.
Research and translate technical information into content for nontechnical and technical users.
Use and enforce established standards for documentation, including internal department guidelines and customer/compliance requirements.
Produce deliverables that conform to established standards for documentation.
Review work of others for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established standards.
Self-directed and capable of managing projects with little oversight; recognizes when to proactively engage support to ensure accuracy and quality.
Conduct interviews with various subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content for deliverables.
Actively participate in staff meetings and in internal department initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Human-Centered Design Engineering, English, or similar
Two (2) or more years of experience as a technical writer
Experience writing content that complies with ATA100, iSpec2200, or S1000D specifications for an Aerospace company a plus
Knowledge of markup languages, such as DITA, HTML, or CSS, a plus

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education/Experience:**

As a Diagnostic Solutions Executive you will partner across Danaher Diagnostics Operating Companies to provide a Danaher Diagnostic Solution to our top accounts across the United States. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Understand the business and financial goals of your customer and put together a sound account plan on why the customer should choose Danaher Diagnostics as their partner of choice.
Develop relationships within the C-suite of select accounts as well as key stakeholders within the different accounts attached to the Health System (i/e Committee Members, Procurement, Medical Directors etc.)
Build and lead the strategic YOY business plan within each Health System incorporating key value drivers for both the customer as well as Beckman Coulter which will drive YOY revenue growth and sustained partnership.
Utilize DBS tools to lead sales campaigns, ensuring that each member of the team understands the needs of the whole value proposition and how their actions tie into the bigger customer partnership.
Partner with Delivery Operations to ensure that installation, go live and post install maintenance are successful. Provides a high-level view of all activities going on within individual accounts to ensure that the customer is provided with high quality, consistent service. Course correct and escalate to executive leadership when needed.
Partner with Operating Company commercial leadership to ensure alignment between local teams and overall Health System. Provide indirect coaching/mentoring and leadership to commercial associates both formally and informally.
Commercial responsibilities include managing funnel, funnel velocity, account action plan development and execution, Executive level selling of OpCo offering, consolidating OPCO proposals, architect final solution, attending executive QBRs monitoring performance of DHR and customer, relationship development within the account (primarily at the Executive level)
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree (preferably within business or sciences), master's degree preferred.
Twenty plus years of sales experience, with at least fifteen in a hospital or laboratory
Proven ability to manage large, complex deals
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent presentation skills; demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely and accurately conduct executive level presentations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Provide guidance to sales managers and build a high-performing team through recruiting, coaching, and training. Plan all hiring for the department and make final recommendations to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Design and implement sales objectives and best-in-class strategies, including sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, in alignment with overall corporate planning cycles and objectives.
Drive go-to-market plans to improve market reach, enhance coverage, and optimize resources to achieve quarterly targets and the 3-year strategic plan.
Provide Management with weekly/monthly /quarterly reports and KPI's to support growth.
Sales Force and Daily Operations Management:
Manage a team of 7 to 10 staff
Develop and manage the annual and forward-looking sales forecast for the Americas region. Set annual sales team targets and associated incentive plans.
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Americas sales team, identifying training needs and ensuring optimal performance.
Manage regional sales activities to maximize revenue, implement targeted approaches for new customer acquisition, and maintain relationships with current customers.
Promote CRM adoption, share best practices for account and opportunity management, and champion customer service excellence.
Customer, Channel and Relationship Management:
Proactively manage and support independent sales channels, including activities of channel partners (representatives, distributors, and system integrators). Monitor performance and resolve territorial and cross-channel disputes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key high-profile customers and sales partners at both senior and mid-management levels.
Provide technical and sales training to channels, conduct customer presentations, and perform product demonstrations. Establish new accounts, plan daily work schedules, adjust sales presentations, close sales, and achieve quarterly quotas.
Investigate problems, prepare reports, develop solutions, and make recommendations to management to resolve customer complaints. Support the 80/20 initiative within the sales team.
Marketing/Product Management support:
Gather and analyze current marketplace information on new products, delivery schedules, pricing, and merchandising techniques to monitor competition.
Collaborate with marketing, technical support, engineering, and business development teams to identify new business opportunities and drive sales.
Plan and execute major sales and marketing events, including product launches, seminars, trade shows, and training meetings.
Gather market information and provide insights for product development and promotional strategies.
Engage in educational workshops, review industry publications, and participate in professional societies.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a Chemical Engineering, Physical science, or Engineering or a related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. A graduate technical or business degree would be an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years' experience working with manufacturers' representatives and OEM accounts within the measurement or instrumentation industry. Direct experience of air quality monitoring instruments or applications is essential. Required familiarity with hydrocarbon gas monitoring, refinery fence line monitoring, and experience with all aspects of CEMS design and integration.
Experience managing both direct sales teams and distribution networks
Strong planning, organization and execution skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Self-starter, able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision, but also cooperate effectively with other Regional Sales Managers and other functional groups within the company
Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.
Proficiency in Windows based office tools and CRM systems
Willingness to travel within the USA, Latin America & Canada at least 50% of the time.

Lead complex enterprise software sales cycles with your account team (pre-sales engineers, support, services) to discover customer challenges and define viable solutions

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's or Masters' degree in EE, ME or equivalent
5+ years of successful enterprise software sales or business development experience
Ability to travel up to 30%
Proven track-record of meeting or exceeding quota selling enterprise software and services
Understanding of key KPIs and economic drivers for discrete manufacturing and articulate the opportunity for automation of test systems management, data management and data insights

The Director, Regional Marketing (Americas) is responsible for the overall direction and road map for Key Account and wider regional marketing across the Americas. . The role will drive alignment between the Key Account and regional commercial priorities, delivering impactful marketing programs that contribute to the achievement of US growth and commercial goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Set strategic direction and long-term roadmap for Americas regional marketing, ensuring alignment with regional commercial objectives well as global strategic priorities. Architect and implement localized marketing strategies that reflect the complexity, scale, and competitive dynamics of the US life science market
+ Lead the design and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns- spanning digital, social media, events, and promotional activities both broadly and as Account Based Marketing in Key Accounts. Ensure that all initiatives are optimized for measurable commercial impact, pipeline acceleration and brand leadership focusing on leading indicators to allow for predictability of revenue
+ Establish a rigorous performance framework, analyzing campaign effectiveness, market and customer engagement metrics. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and the sales team to continuously optimize strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness/ROI
